While it is currently a WiiU + Indie machine, the system WILL get original games. Hell we got Xenoblade, Mario, Kirby, SMT V, No More Heroes 2.5, Metroid, and tons more on the way and in development.
I would recommend people wait till 2018, but it's not a bad system to own if you don't have a WiiU and actually use its portability element.
