Also how characters are all 100% item dependant. All abilities draw damage from your weapon, even spells. This was not the case in 2 where a fire ball did the same damage whether you were holding a sword or not. But in 3 it doesn't even matter what build you are using, it's all dependant on the numbers. And don't get me started on the abysmal drop rates which they later "fixed".

When you add micro-transactions or any sort of option to pay with real-life currency you're going to affect the economy even if you retain option to acquire them in-game without paying. Overwatch having purely cosmetic items from lootboxes that you can buy for real-life cash or grind? Have fun grinding with the notion that you could just use your credit cards instead. Then Blizzard decided this wasn't enough and made limited time events.
