Technically, there's a lot of fun in just learning the game. Playing without knowing anything beforehand can be really fun, especially if you have more experienced players teaching you.

However the truth of the matter is that there's nothing that deep that takes so long to learn.
Most of it is learning how the RNG rolls or some burden of knowledge shit, like corner shots and "u feel a tidy brick!" stuff that you learn as you go.
Take genetics for instance, it's just turning genes "on", understanding hexadecimal numbers, how powers\disabilities trigger and what the settings in the machine does is the most complicated stuff you'll do, everything from that is fun with the powers you get, provided you can spend 15 minutes tweaking them or Science gives you a hand.
