Is the DLC worth getting?
It's only a $40 game, which makes me feel like they intentionally chopped $20 of content off of the game and sold it separately… but if that's not the case and the two DLC courses are NOT worth the asking price, I'd like to know.

The only ones that are worth it are the courses, but just wait for them to go on sale or when it's all out they'll do a big discount bundle like they did for the last game.

PangYa was amazing when it first came out, and I played the American version that was called Albatross18
But as more and more huehues filled the global servers it got progressively worse.
When you have to name your lobby "ENGLISH ONLY!!" in the vain hope that huehues won't join and start spewing portugese garbage at you, the community is officially dead.

I've been using the standard non-beginner ball and my perfect impact rate is still 1/3

That wouldn't change the perfect impact rating, since that only counts PERFECT impacts.

Is that how it works in real life golf?
It's possible but extremely hard to do and the ball would have to land to be closer after the flag shot to get that many skips. Something happened like that in a major a few years back but it only involved one hole skip.
