What would jails be like?

They'd be fully automated.

They'd be rehab centers not using prisoners as cheap labor for private companies and not locking people up for victimless crime.

I'd hope that there would be more focus on preventative measures. Penal deterrence is bunk, and so there would no reason for prisons to be unnecessarily punishing. Depending how well the society was doing, there might be no reason for a black market or the black market would be a major part of the economy, which will determine the majority of the prison population.

You would work in a prison factory and the money you generate would pay for your room and food. If there is extra you get it when you get out of prison.

Prisons exist purely as a torture method to spite people and it relies on an organization having the exclusive right to use violence. Doesn't make sense in a stateless society.

Other crimes, if the person really is incapable of living in society, do not torture them, just exile or kill them, and if it's not justified I guess neither is the spiteful torture.
