So I got around to trying Street Fighter EX plus Alpha today on Mednafen. I can see why people like this game so much, it kinda reminds me of ST with more characters and more meter. Also D. You forget SF5 was released early just to be out in time for Evo of that year. Doesn't surprise me they were in such a hurry they forgot to censor it before early release.

If you liked Injustice2, I think this and MKXL have both great online using rollback netcode.

Now if you don't have a console, I think NRS fixed the PC port of MKXL. I don't know if you'll like SFV. It has a bigger playerbase but it's way more simple and "restrictive" so I don't know. KOF XIV is great for beginners too But online depends on where you live. It's filled with south american and chinese lobbies.. Don't know how much into anime you are to suggest Xrd, Blazblue, UNiEL and others and they usually have so-so online netcode. Skullgirls stil has one of the best netcode of the genre on PC but is somwhat complicated for a beginner. KI also has a suberb netcode but is Windows10 only.

But of course there's the free alternatives by emulating old games on Fightcade. There's a guide at the OP and games like KOF'98/2002, 3rdStrike, ST, Garou are all good to start and always have people playing it. The GGPO they use is great and I don't understand why nobody outside the Skullgirls dev team and somewhat NRSgames and KI uses this type of netcode on their games.

Each time Yuzu enters her stance she can use each button out of A, B, C, D once (for any of her specials, her FF or her 6X command normals). The letters show which button is currently held to keep the stance active, which are already used and which are still available.

Doens't fit with their presentation philosophy. The design is sparks, effects and as clean a UI as possible to make fights a spectacle. They've been all about how 'cool' a fight looks since tekken 1, with slow motion replays over and over, floor breakage effects etc. This is why they combined rage into the lifebar, to minimise 'gamey' shit from the screen. Instead of adding other kinds of bars & meters for such a long time they just fused it with the only bar they pretty mich can't do without, the lifebar. They're only adding more of them now out of necessity for SF and SF proxy characters. A combo meter would be unnecessary to them.

Wouldn't mind an option or mod to add it back in, though. Would be great to have a mod logger on them as well to calculate your last matches largest combo, average combo damage over time in ranked matches etc.

There's something I've been noticing with the censoring with SFV. All the censor patches/changes they did in the beginning were done for Cammy, Mika, and Juri, while other female characters didn't get the same treatment for their costumes or animation/camera angles. Note that these characters that are either white or look white. Granted if any of the non-white female characters characters got into finals of EVO or another televised event in America, they'd probably force the costume change on them too, but it seems that Capcom's not only cucking out with censoring for esports and triggered non-gamers, but going full SJW and doing only for the white/white-like female characters (Menat being strong evidence of this given her costumes, animations, and poses. I could be proven wrong on this if SJWs complain enough about Menat and censor her as well).

It's a reboot/remake of the Senko no Ronde DUO game that never got localized plus a bunch of new content added in. So a complete new game if you've only played the first game that actually did get localized.
Pc version comes out on September 6th and the PS4 version is out September 7th, there is a demo on PSN too if you have a PS4 and want to check it out.

Care about having fun, use it to develop consistency in certain skills or train certain abilities, use it to diagnose stuff you have to work in training mode and try online again so tomorrow you can be better than you are today. lso, don't overestimate your abilities.
Put those in a higher position than beating the other guy, put your ego in check, take a chill pill, get comfortable with losing and give yourself the time to improve. The wins (and more defeats) will come as you get better..
