Should I do it? It feels like a betrayal of my ideals to work inside the two-party machine. On the other hand, I have an opportunity few people have to be an inside man.
And before you say "you're not a real porky, they won't ever let you near anything important", this isn't one of those cases. Obviously not going to compromise myself but please take my word for it that getting to a pretty high place in the Dem. establishment is not unreasonable if I work hard enough.
I'd rather not I feel like spending 20 years working with people I hate, in an institution I hate, is pretty doomed tbh even with good living conditions. Of course that's true for everyone in wage slavery…

The two party system is immovable so you can absolutely do more good as a democratic party entryist than anything else. Godspeed commierade.
Gavin Price
You can work your way up, building your political capital along the way. If things go sour, you can jump off the two-party train with that capital. That's basically what Sanders did when he ran in the DNC primary.

accelerate that shit up for us fam
Jayden Lopez
That's my thought. It'll be extremely mentally taxing to both deal with party shit all the time and also keep my mouth shut when liberal bullshit happens (always).
I mean obviously you can't go full revolutionary but I don't know how much you need to hide your true face, you can present yourself as part of the Warren succdem wing of the party maybe?
Lucas Harris
the only real question left is: just how slick do you think you can be?
Ethan Russell
You can do it lad

You're missing a trick if you don't get them on side
No need to do it 1:1, you'll probably get lost half way in to becoming the Doomed Man. But this is an exceptional opportunity.

I'm an excellent liar (I'm told) but my temper and patience aren't phenomenal. It's something I'll have to work on.
Exactly, that way if I slip here and there I can pass it off as being a different way of phrasing socdem concepts.
I'm not personally religious, but I think liberation theology would be good to promote. That wouldn't really be my 'place' though. Perhaps for a minister's son who radicalizes perhaps.

are all of us on this board doomed?? :(
Asher Lopez
This is a savvy response. What the fuck is it they have that causes heart attacks? That KGB chief in his car recently, hell even John Smith who was going to be PM died of one and got Tony Blair elected.
Shame you're on the dem side. If you were republican you could go full accelerationist and create the conditions for revolt.
Oliver Wood
Not personally a fan of accelerationism, I feel it just drives people towards fascism because it's the "easier" solution (allows them to retain biases and patriotism/nationalism).
Henry Allen
Don't do it user, you won't be able to acomplish shit and you're likely to get porky mentality.
