Is it really? I thought BattlEye was something that came around when Punkbuster became obsolete and now BattlEye is being replaced by EasyAntiCheat.
Though I have no idea what the difference between all of these are, they all just seem like super invasive programs that I would rather didn't exist even if it meant I would run into the occasional cheater in an online shooter or something.

They barely catch any cheaters anyways. No wonder every AAA game double dips with anticheat and adds fucking Fairfight to it. Now, fairfight is another incredibly stupid fucking way of banning people. It actually scans your scores, and bans you if you're too good.
