Prey is how doom 3 should had been made. The amount of organic body horror of unholy combination of meat and machine in that game is exactly what doom needs on Thy Flesh Consumed tier levels. But instead we've got grey corridors after grey corridors, where Prey mixes space themes, alien labs, after life and organic environment with gravity and portal gimmicks, making each level look unique.

It was average. It was like Serious Sam without the challenge or number of enemies.
Even had the worse gore system when compared to SS3. A close range shotgun blast in SS3 results in chunks everywhere painting your screen, weapon and floor with gushes of blood while in Doom 4 you just turn your enemy into chunks with minor blood, it's fairly underwhelming

I did like the suit because I'm a sucker for Space marine armor but I'm probably the only one.
Shotguns were nerfed to hell but the rocket launcher, rail gun and minigun were pretty fun.
Cyberdemon and Spider Mastermind were super underwhelming.
The soundtrack had like two good tracks, one of which was the menu theme.
