Yeah, the translation is flawed. I also didn't know how to translate the use of "wer" as a subject, as the English "who" doesn't really seem to lend itself to the same use, so I went for "he who" even though it adds in a specified gender which doesn't exist in the original. Same thing when I decided to translate the simple "gegen" as "when confronted with" as I felt simply "against" would create a somewhat broken-sounding sentence. But what do I know, really. That's the problem when you translate from a language you barely even speak into a language which isn't your native tongue either…
