Kill yourselves plox.
Maybe that's why I enjoyed it more than Homecoming. I was never a huge fan of the cult. Didn't hate it, but 2 was always my favorite because it didn't involve weird religious cults.

You mean this?
Yes, even if they are insufferable, they are on point.
Must be pretty embarrassing to announce your stupidity to everyone like this.
I don't think it's bad. My opinion is it's decent which I already stated. I was wondering what other people's reasoning for commonly bashing it was so I went to Holla Forums the VIDEO GAME board to ask other anons their personal opinions of why the game did or did not fail. If you can't grasp that then you are a fool.
The only thing I truly hated about Downpour, was the stability. Constant hitches and freezes, sometimes for upwards of 5 seconds, made the game a slog.
Honestly it just gets a lot of hate for not being innovative, and basically taking 2's story(like all American Silent Hills have been doing as of late), and making it worse. I enjoyed it for what it was, and thought it was infinitely better than Homecoming was. Shattered Memories also has its pluses.
Shitty on a technical level, boring enemy design (even compared to the arguably shittier Homecoming in my opinion), and a plot that not only copies 2, but also retcons itself. Doesn't help that other potentially interesting aspect (the cop's side of the story) was cut and made into a comic and bug patches never actually fixed the issues.
In all due honesty, the only good thing about Downpour was that you're someone else's final boss, THAT was interesting.
