I use my fake Facebook profile in an attempt to debate the retards on my local news pages.
I have learned that I hate these people and that no one can argue worth a shit. I have been threatened multiple times with fraud because I use a fake name. It's ridiculous. I was also threatened physically a few times. They're all empty threats but it's still funny to see people be so stupid.
I have also confirmed that most people have no idea what Marxism actually is.
Discussing politics in a local community tends to be more toxic than the general internet I found as each tiny disagreement is somehow a personal insult.
Had a friend who runs a refugee aid organisation get doxxed, death threats from local bike gang members and his work got spammed with email and phone complaints for weeks because he was "supporting terrorism".
There is no point trying to raise class conciseness in a small status quo conservative town when everyone is so spooked.
