Just point out that it doesn't really matter who is being the most oppressed by hierarchical society, when you still have to appeal to the self-interest of groups most integral to preserving it (privileged groups) if we're to have any hope of creating a mass-movement to oppose it at all. Of course marginalized groups should still get to organize themselves as marginalized people, but when they wedge themselves into larger groups and claim revolutionary primacy, they sabotage themselves.
The whole point is to transcend that which divides us and not succumb to this modern micro-nationalism.

Besides, women, black Americans, Muslims, LGBT people, etc. experience different facets of capitalism than cis, straight, white, Christian or non-religious men and you need to hear their stories, too. Not only does it help build better relationships between workers, it helps you form a more varied critique of capitalism.
It also shitfts the focus to things that affects almost noone, putting revolutionary primacy on things most people cannot relate to at all, crippling your movement from the very beginning.
That doesn't mean that we shouldn't listen to - say - black people. We should. But most discussions surrounding blackness should be for black people, and it is then up to them to find common ground with whites and to argue why it is in the self-interest of white people to dismantle racism.
If this is looking for real advice and isnt just bait, confront them OP. It may be a little awkard but in the real world and in these kinds of activites espeically, you must be striaght forward.
If they're not scum, they will try to accomodate your demands. If they dont, join another group or start your own.
Dont be damning about it though. Dont try and say they're only letting themselves talk becuae they have huge egos and huge dicks and need to show off to everyone. 9 times out of 10 they simply didnt realise. Be straight forward about it, but remeber you're still comrades.
I'm not arguing that these discussions should take precedent. However, they shouldn't be shunned either. It's necessary to hear different sides to understand how capitalism pits us against each other and dehumanizes people to justify their exploitation or withholding the resources they need and deserve.

Don't go to meetings filled with confused college-age liberals. Contact your local left-wing socialist party and ask about public meeting and how to help out. That's where you will meet people that are serious about socialism and not a bunch of idpol liberals.
