I'd realise that vassalage is a mistake and go back to leading a band of mercenaries that strategically hop sides to ensure that no one faction gets shitcanned too hard.

I would understand that my liege has to juggle many difficult matters during his rule, accept his judgement, and invest the money into one of the estates I control

thanks mods, my bad :^)

What if I already have a sizable sum of money and soldiers, but only two castles, one town and several villages?

No point in refusing unless you want to be King. I only feel that way under Harlaus. Stupid shit doesn't know what too many wars look like, he fucking works me overtime dealing with war parties of 3 different factions trying to retake what will eventually become my fief

At that point it would probably be best to trade or renounce control of a few villages, that way other lords could be appeased and it would lower the amount of taxes I lose on collection in exchange for a slight loss of gross income

Anyone tried the latest iteration of weeb&blade?

You mean the almost year old beta patch?

Needed to be remade

First time i heard of this. Link please, Google find nothing.

I'd tell you to fucking google it or something but no one posted the actual name of it so I'll spoon feed you.
nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/3816/?

Gekokujo, one of the most fun I've had in a mod.

I think the only one that topped it was the thailand mod.

Nothing compares to being an Englishman mercenary lending his sword, or rifle I should say, to the Portuguese to colonize Indo-China. Fuck, I loved being just a soldier in the army, trying to make an honest living, to eventually be able to hire an army of my own to become a vassal.

I think the guy said that he was working on some game, i wonder what it is/was. Hope that maybe he'll comeback and rework this thing

Definately the most fun mods out there. Not being filled with overabundance of halfassed mechanics is a huge plus.

Shame butterlord sets the time period backwards instead of implementing mechanics for early modern period warfare.

Also OP, if you have the balls, money, right to rules and enough elite troops you could just say fuck 'em and start your own faction, It'll be hard ofc but boy it's worth it if you manage to conquer them.

Your so-called King is afraid of your growing power and influence, and is now giving the hard-won castle to some Count fag who might also be after your head, no, fuck him up.

Very few things compare to throwing the EGOIST CUNT that snubbed you from getting the city that YOU FUCKING SIEGED BY YOURSELF and giving it to that fucking cunt that you hate, then seeing his empire crumble.

Though to be perfectly honest if I ever had a vassal that was as powerful as the rest of the realm combined I'd start curtailing their power as well.

basically this
my best run was the KANGS run of native expansion
raid rhodoks, attack caravans and take prisoners, use the money to get tons of weaveries working
i also joined the sarranids so i was getting money from a village
eventually i had like 60k money, so i said fuck it, went recruiting mercenaries from every city and once i had a sizable army i went and took a rhodok castle, refused to give it back to the sarranids, and thus the KANGDOM OF AFRICA was born, after which i proceeded to conquer all the sandnigger lands
money is definitely the most important factor

I was thinking of the Daimyo Edition that just popped up. mega:#!Y0x1XTQI!0pGf8MVjN7WviGxmr060IKRkmkaRryvNGToLsstL9Wg

And no, it's not mine.

I swear to fuck, if Rochabarth ever comes near me or my castle ever again I am going to burn down his entire families fiefdom on a daily basis.

These guys arrive at your feast and steal all your butter, what do?

Raid their villages non-stop. If their village isn't constantly burnt to the ground, then you're not doing your job.

NO SWADIANS ALLOWED

i really hope butterlord lets us conquer villages
it's so disappointing to raid them only for food, especially when some asshole lord suddenly shows up and defends them, forcing me to waste my entire army on a bit of butter

Stationing troops at a village would be nice too. I know at least PoP lets them act as another lord for the purpose of recruiting freed prisoners, so if you defend a village from a lord with a lot of prisoners and don't recruit any of them, then they'll show up next time you're defending that village in place of the villagers.

Is there any guide or formula to figure out the optimal number of any particular type of business before they start causing losses?

Take out my Lordly War Yumi and "knock out" all of his vassals.
Then I take out my Balanced Nagamaki, block all of his slow as fuck attacks and slice his baka gaijin head open.

Did you managed to get some goody two-shoes lords to follow you instead of great reeader gookenberg misterr double-dubsu?

Hey! i remember you! How's that war with the Vaegirs coming

How come my companions always turn into the most unrighteous assholes i've met when i gave them land? Ungrateful little shits

Because muh realism?

i tought Gekokuju focused on feudal japan

user…

...

shit i fucked up

Rewarding gundpodwer mods, there is also Sayazn

Suvarnabhumi Mahayuth is the mod I was referencing.

The most any other General could muster was around 100 men excluding Gookenberg himself. On average every other General could scrounge up maybe 30 men. So there wasn't a point in asking any one. Though one of the Generals from the (then dead) Tokugawa Clan did join me after a few days. Also Gookenberg had maybe 7-10 Generals.

It's been a while since that playthrough and my computer has shat itself twice since then. Here's the rest of the story if you're interested though:
and begin to poke holes in mother fuckers
They had 80 troops left.
It was a good day to die.

gekokujew sieges are the best
the layout of those castles makes retreats further into the fort an actual option, unlike castles in any other mod
really wish other mods actually did this with their castles, losing the walls essentially means losing the battle in any other mod

This. But if Tolranius or the king are dicks, I also start sabotaging them.

Is there any way to port L'aigle shooting effects and smoke etc to other mods?

Speaking of L'Aigle, will Docm ever patch it or are we stuck in eternal beta ?

What mod would that be?

Gekokujo
Also I posted the link to the mod page already.
Also some kind user posted some other guys' mod for the mod.
Lurk moar

He said there's a very big patch coming but I wouldn't trust him. This mod's only saving grace are the autistically accurate uniforms and the effects and sounds, which is why I want to port the effects to geko.

>the only village I manage to conquer because stole it on a war between two kingdom is constantly raid by the niggers I'm at war with while on duty
What the fuck shall I do?

disgusting

You're missing a crucial point no sane cavalry leader would charge up against a riverbank

anyone tried this?
moddb.com/mods/dickplomacy

There's your problem. Play as a Khergit, mongol slave lord.

I was bored to be a mercenary, and I always go for the self made noble….I fell for the merchant meme and fuck my gameplay in the long run

I'm sure that's the commanding officers.

WEW i'm downloading that.

wow this has some nice features on top of the dicking.

I wonder who could be behind this mod?

Gas yourself knife ears

What's you fags' opinion on Viking Conquest? Also what's the best mods that just build on top of the original features of vanilla Warband?

Vikang Conquest is aight. I had fun. I also have a Viking fetish so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

it's some user from the 4cucks general

Also, does this mod have fugging animations?

This changes everything
I wonder if you can rape the butter king

This is actually a good mod.

It's okay now, it's just that the grind takes forever now if you play the story mode (Yes there is a story mode and it's not buggy as fuck), a wall of text of my experience of the mod expansion pack incoming
Combat
>Shields are fucking hueg and SPHERICAL
>Archery is now almost useless, since the damage type is changed into cutting not penetrating damage type, and you can't use this while on horseback
>Polearms gets a massive buff and is actually really good now, and now it's not useless to pair it with a shield rather it's actually a really good loadout now
>Basically Heavy Infantries Northmarr Vikings are the new Swadian Knights
Non-Combat stuff
>Training troops are a chore why fucking bother, good fucking luck getting huscarls, also they capped off your training skill to 5
There's some more but i don't think i'll even bother since it's nothing to note. Overall, it's an okay expansion pack, but still felt like a very polished mod

WHERE IS BUTTERLORD? I WANT TO PLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

eh forgot pic

...

But it's VIKING conquest.
If I can't shit a thousand throwing axes all over the faces of the rest of Calradia then why even fucking bother?

Yes.

...

Now you can be just like Alexander the great

...

you can, it reduces his renown too

...

Aww yeeee

Your fault for not reading the readme. The "nude" skin option makes everyone nude they don't have armor. Otherwise, people are only nude in specific situations.

Is there any way to make progress this game without being an asshole who kills, robs and enslaves peasants?

You're playing as a noble in a medieval era pseudo-Europe.

Of course there's no way to avoid fucking over peasants.

You don't start as a noble. I want to start a peasant's revolt and put the soft-skinned, perfumated inbreds to death.

of course there is, I've had games where I never raided villages or assaulted peasants/ caravans

...

Has anyone tried this AD 1200 mod on the Steam Workshop? Looks neat for being a Russian Kitchen Sink mod, but it's incredibly slow to do anything and I haven't got it to load a new game once.

So, how do you activate the sex scenes, I followed the instructions and activated the consensual and non-consensual content on and yet game does not offer banging my companions and noble women

there should be dialog options to initiate sex, I think there's stat requirements (CHA probably) for most consensual sex though.

trying talking to your companion while walking around the camp

still no dialogues

Wait, there's charisma checks to get them?

It's not even M&B r34. It's an actual porn mod you're meant to play.

you should see the first option if you have adult content enabled

forgot pic

...

also pick the second option here.
the first one makes her actually fuck you, like she pegs you.

This is like a M&B doujin.

alright got it working, i reinstalled it and for some reason it didn't work because of the body mods

did you install the map thing too? because that disables adult content and makes you have to enable it again

Would be something if it was includable in ((whatever)) mod, now it's just a couple of hours top of the same old and a gimmick.

the nonsex stuff it has is pretty neat though

Are you serious?

Where can I get the latest version of MB Warband?

yeah, try it

Sure but it's not really comparable with true overhauls.

With that low effort? Try Steam.

Actually trying the search function on qbittorrent, but can`t find a 1.168 that doesn`t have acok with it.
Oh well.

For fucks sake, that's just a module and the dickplomacy guy is even distributing the crack with his moddb release. so better get it before he's B&

Already did.
But thanks for the tip anyway.

that's not a crack it's WSE

Nah user, if you did you'd realize that you can use that exe to run the game from their official site. Or indeed you could get viking conquest, reforged (both 168) or that acok version because that's most likely basegame+acok in the first place.

it's bothcheck the CP variablethat's CP for copy protection, you pervert:^)

I meant I already downloaded the dickplomacy guy mod. I do plan on buying the game when there is a sale.
Regards, poorNEET.

I did install it

it overwrites the menu.txt so if you enable adult stuff then add the map stuff adult content has to be re-enabled the same way you did it the first time

Alright, inorder to bang you must atleast have high enough persuasion?

I don't know exactly what skill requirements you need but it's probably CHA/persuasion/renown or a mix of those.
you don't need any skills to rape though.

user, do you need them(women) to be prisoners or from your party to make them a staff for your tavern and bath house

prisoners

thanks

bonerlord when?

This obviously Shogun 2 total war. This reminds me of a mechanic in the game that said I could use ships during sieges like your picture but i never figured out how because my english is bad.

Anyone played the Daiymo version of Gekokujo? How is it?

Never

bump

Imagine bastardizing mephiz and sugoroku, slapping a ton of new armors on top and then somewhat increasing party sizes and you probably got the right idea.

bump

If you're not contributing anything, why bother? At least make a small effort and post your campaign in progress or some shit.

or post dank maymays

good idea

Nords4lyfe nigga

Threadly reminder that quality posting starts with (You).

Who to serve? Can Isolla save Swadia?

Sayazn is a fucking shit mod holy shit every time I see Diplomacy I get this taste in my mouth that reminds me of that awful fucking mod

...

As they should be. The horses of the North were essentially ponies.

Stop this historical revisionism.

Why don`t all mods add the mod that allows you to just be a soldier in someone army? It is an interesting way to play the game, tbh.

Reform the glorius calradian empire by yourself, you fag.

Kun en araber ville bringe en hund i krig.

It's cool but also real buggy and prone to exploitation, too. For example you can and usually will end up looting a king's army as if you beat it by yourself, getting unique or insanely expensive gear in the process.

To be fair a lot of the models and enviroments look much better than brytenwalda, even though i think brytenwalda has better gameplay. Both great choices imo.

Is this a mod?

yeah follow the reply chain

BANNERLORD

FUCKING

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN

Why do you think Norseman largely fought on foot? Because their horses were not made for war.

How is Medieval Conquests play compared to AD 1257?

*does

I just want something new

What if Bannerlord comes out and it's shit too

NO

At least I can deliver a letter for him

You should have dueled him, before going back to the waifu.

Everyone loves you except for the people who love the people who love you

Is there any point in having a lover with more than 20 relation, or building up more than 20 before trying to ask for hand and such?

If I remember correctly, there were buttons on the side of your screen, and you could chose the fire-mission type. Then you just put the red marker on the battlefield and fire mission would be executed painfully slowly and inefficiently. And then you end up being infuriated because the amount of ships in range does not make any difference on the fire mission parameters (duration of shelling, guns being used, or the preparation time for the next fire-mission).

The turkroaches have been handling the pre-release of the game badly. First they announced the game way too early, then proceed to cocktease the fans time and again with fluff updates and a complete lack of communication, with rumors about engine programmers leaving and a lack of clear direction for the project.

They could just release a bunch of generic screenshots every month and it would keep people calm, yet they deliberately chose to not communicate with the community and dodge almost every question asked. The game is supposed to release this year, surely they have the majority of the mechanics and features hammered down, right?

you have to realize that M&B could just be a happy accident

Mistakes Into Miracles: The Game

They wanted to release it by the end of 2016

"In some form", which I interpreted as either EA or beta. Still, even by then most of the core mechanics, features and assets should have been in place.

I don't even care when they release it, they can take all the time they want to not fuck it up, I just want them to be a little more transparent with what is going on.

Turkroaches will be removed before it is released. You will crusade for the holy lands, all for naught, as upon recovery the game will turn out to be complete shit. And in that blasted hellscape, on top of a mountain of dead kebabs, as the cancer from the radiation poisoning eats away at your life, you will realize your folly.

I really don't want to believe the coup affected them, but it was pretty smooth sailing up until then

I just wanted to play as Byzantium and make the Empire whole.

Well good job, retard; You nuked half of Croatia. And you didn't have the common sense to get out of the way of the fallout. Your concubines will mourn your loss for a time. Then the scheming for the throne begins.

Spoiler alert: The hot bitch with the retard kid gets it. And that kid marries a kike.

Now I want Bannerlord to let me go around and accumulate a harem.

There's always CK2.

WHEN.

Never Ever

I will have to now.

...

wut?

IIRC the original mountain blade was early access too. But I'm still suspicious about any EA game, and there's a shit-ton of mods for warband on my backlog, so, I can wait untill it gets a full release and decide what to do then, I'll gladly pay the full price if they do things properly.

Oh yeah

I like it. Gives the impression that you're not just battling bandits, you're being attacked by a rape gang.

It was worse than EA because you had to pay again for the full version.

fuckin nice

God damned Turkikes

I just want a mod that doesn't put me in charge of sieges always. I don't like commanding them in general, but it's fucking annoying to be a lowly pleb, hop into an ongoing siege and have the lords put me in charge. Not only that but it would be nice to be able to put someone else in charge of my troops when helping allies. these are some of the things i hope butterlord fixes, togheter with horse archer AI and how combat almost always becomes a homogeneous mass of soldiers of one side becoming one and attacking the other, which can be easily solved with melee team killing and having the AI try to avoid it.

you can bet on yourself every match and win 20000 in total

Honestly, it's better to command the siege yourself, the AI just zergrushes the ladder with everything, they never leave the archers/ballistas on the ground.
But I think that the mods that let you join the lords army as a soldier let you experience that.

Prepare to have your shekels grubbed when Mount & Blade™: Bannerlord™: Warband™ rolls out with the features Bannerlord should have had at launch.

EA wasn't even a thing back then you lying sacks of shit. They offered (and still do) a free download for the full game that plays as a demo for two in game weeks or so before the insert serial key pop-up.

The only DRM warband had and still has is that same serial key check. Arguably also steam but that's a different cancer.

Just because they called them pre-orders doesn't change the concept.

And here's proof, you filthy (1)
archive.is/8AAuW

Alright gabe.

really?
fucking christ I thought it was a one-bet thing

So, you're not intentionally lying for some sweet, sweet attention - you just happen to have shit for brains?

So, you're not intentionally pretending to be retarded for some sweet, sweet attention - you just happen to have shit for brains?

user, you're borderline pathetic at this point. Both yours and the only reference I can find on google to warband having had some form of early access is that short article. And even in that article the term isn't remotely related to current day EA steam kikery you first implied.

Think you can move on and stop shitting up this thread?

I pirated m& but I'd up pay good money to see that mod ported to persino. My god, the salt would be amazing.

It is.
And I didn't imply shit, you're the ones reading shit when there's nothing, early access is early access, it doesn't matter if they finished the game properly before publishing, I don't give a fuck what kikery is going on now with that.

This is funny (because she seems fine) but I still feel they should show respect to the granny.

But what are they?

Autism or an average day on Holla Forums. Likely both.

I'm retarded.

You just need more nutritious butter in your diet to keep your wits strong and alert.

Funny thing is butter actually does help me.

Naturally. Every pure bloodied Swadian will recommend it for the brain power benefits alone.

So seeing as this thread is dying off how about we talk about what changes we want to see in butterlord.

One of the best things in m&b was decking out my character in armor. Combining different armors was a lot of fun in warband, but there just aren't enough to go full dress-up. From some of the leaks I saw butterlord is introducing more item slots for different types of armor and I think they should go all out with this. Have ones separate for shoulders, lower body accessories, upper body accessories. Hell, go full RPG mode and introduce rings, necklaces and bracelets that increase certain stats like persuasion or leadership.
Redo attributes and stats. Some attributes don't make sense like having path finding and spotting being related to INT rather than AGI, which makes more sense. Some stats need to be done away with, tracking and first aid are completely pointless.

I really hate that idea. But more slots and specifically dedicated slots for weapons while mounted would be appreciated. Might also give me a reason to carry a shield or stop running back to my baggage.

Also, sidegrades. I mean if you're going to have several types of damage might as well have several types of armor that respond differently to them. Blunt in particular is way too powerful.

But the one thing I'm really hoping for is improved melee AI. I love this game but there's no better word to describe a mass fight other than clusterfuck and then some backrow AI noclips a pike up your nose

Dammit I wanted porn.

Okay.

This.
Warband is non-magical RPG. If you want "effects", introduce plants and food (e.g. butter gives +8 morale, +2 fortitude, -2 stamina)

*plants meaning herbs
(You might get tea from the Khergits that make your men heal faster, for example. Something realistic. Runes or religious symbols could bolster morale and certain strange coincidences could happen if you follow the religion well, e.g. a "Christian" who thieves travelers and rapes deer and hides in a cave 24/7 might get bad-luck, while a knight who captures thieves and courts a virgin girl and goes to mass every Sunday might get good luck)

It'll also make the armoring in the game not mindless ladder climb to get the one with highest points.

Absolutely. The AI just rushes you and you either mow them down or they overwhelm you.

VC had a decent religion system. It wasn't perfect, but based on your religion you could recruit different units and affected your relations.
I'm not so sure about that, user. I remember a tweet from them saying they'll add some mythical units to the game. If the not the base game, a Homm mod would definitely benefit from stat changing gear.

To Warband? Why?

Not warband. Bannerlord.

But I had said that Warband was non-magical. They better keep the magical units as realistic as possible, as in Druid units that "works" for those who believe it does.

But almost all gear is already stat changing just too bad how encumbrance counts for fuck all in regards to moral or actual encumbrance

Going deus vult is it's own reward, deer fucker.

Why do you call me a deer-fucker? I was speaking of a hypothetical nutcase.

It was just a prank? In all seriousness though I'm not sure how religion would work. Brytenwalda had one of the better systems in place but even that was mostly windowdressing with no real gameplay value.

No, go fuck yourself.

You want to overcomplicate things and insert pointless things.

Magic rings might have a place in a RPG, but not here.

And armor generally comes in a complete form, so that mix-and-matching even the tinest parts (like shoulder pads, they were part of armor) is something ever scavengers wouldn't do.

You already have 4 weapon slots ,you dumb motehrfucker!

I have some standards, user. I'd have to at least see your mother first. As for slots always found it silly how you carry a jousting lance at all times on your person. That armor remark? I wouldn't touch with a 40-foot pole.

And remember, always bait responsibly.

If you don't mind tactics/XCom-esque gameplay, Battlebrothers was an awesome game. Definitely not for those who get frustrated with having their ass railed by goblins, but it's fun.

t. Never been in a 1000 man siege

That's it, I've had enough of this bullshit, I'm going to delete system32

Make a new thread, share some maps or post builds and shit. Do a shitty Holla Forums plays. This whole jump in random threads and shill wildly is annoying as fuck.

What about starsector

Morrowind had separate helmet, curiass, left and right upper and lower arms, upper legs, and left/right lower legs. Under which you could wear clothing, and over which you could wear a cloak.

I can't really see a reason for more separate armor bits unless you're going full knight simulator 2017. Although I'd totally buy that.

we need layers of equipment like that one other game.

Is there a MB:W version of this image?

None that I've seen.
I'd say Nords would be the special forces.

Do it yourself you magnificent bastard.

play exanima some day. The armour autism there is unbeatable

10/10

No, I want to play dress up in a medieval setting.
I take it English isn't your first language? It was common in history, after a battle to scrap and salvage whatever you found. Anything that wasn't utterly trashed was pilfered so it can be recycled, especially when armor plating became popular. If you're going to get angry at least do your research. Nice reddit spacing btw.

God, I loved Morrowind's approach to armoring. The fun in looting never stopped.

btw this guy invented airplanes

Anyone know a good singleplayer mod set in the 16th century like With Fire and Sword?

...

So basically religion and it's psychological effects?

Oh well, I guess I'll be playing something else.

Maybe, I dunno.

...

Either import a character or do as I do, and set XP modifier to 12.
Usually saves me a hundred or so days of pure grind per game.

I mean shit if it's because of your taxpayer money i'd understand. Next up you're going to thank a vietnam vet for his service or something idiotic like that.

...

anyone tried the new Gekokujo fork yet?

Sure are a lot of edgy kids around here today.

Daimyo Edition?
I'm still in doubt about how to run it, what WB version is it, or is a direct submod, and if so, what mod version
Seems cool thou, shame i couldn't never get into a mary-sue ronin character due to rifle-wielding bandits all over the place

Muskets =! rifles.

Troops that can stay and fight in formation, Total War styled tactical overview of your troops, more varied playstyles that don't force you to go through the same gameplay all the time, better quests and character interactions, and modding that allows the modders to go wild.

I want proper flying units and vehicles, I want more equipment slots, magic, religion, vastly different troop behavior depending on equipment and culture, alchemy, proper quests with multiple solutions, dungeons to explore and any other crazy thing the modders can cook up.

Why do you faggots keep asking for this shit? Remember that Calradia is a world, and it's already established that dragons, ogres, skeletons, etc. don't exist outside of in-game fictional stories or are long gone.
I suppose magic could work but not the "my hand is on fire" TES stuff. And flying units? Elaborate. Maybe simply blimps, or maybe a carrier-hawk mini-game, or maybe a dream sequence like in the Evlat mod. Alchemy is fine, but it shouldn't be too fantastical. Dungeons? Maybe, but they'd only hold rats, bats, and bandits. Then you say
Was that all just what you wanted from modding? Why wouldn't you expect that stuff? Sounded more like you want all that from the vanilla game, but then you say the aforementioned.
I think you might want to play a different game then, user.

That is correct, yes, muskets back then had their cannons "smooth" and had no spiral/rifled-groving for more accuracy
Point still stands, however, you get your shit fucked up against 10 teppo monks, because at least you can somewhat dodge arrows

Nigger, work on your reading comprehension, I was talking about the game having a modding framework that would allow for such things to be put into the game.

That being said Bannerlord better have more content to it than just Warband with some quality of life improvements.

Did you read my entire post? It's apparent you were speaking of that (and I mentioned this), HOWEVER, your formatting was sort of weird. You end with the first paragraph with talk of modding, and then, in another paragraph, you talk about what you want in the mods. But, because the first paragraph was about/you started the first paragraph with what you wanted in Butterlord, it sounded like you were just adding to that, but with more specificity, or something. Then you end it with "and any other crazy thing…" etc.. The second paragraph should have been connected to the first one, like the following:
>"…and modding that allows the modders to go wild, such as proper flying units and vehicles…"
If anything, I'm used to poorly formatted posts, you negro:^)

newfag here,
you can export but you can't import chrs?

what is A clash of Kings about?

yes you can import characters
"A clash of kings" is a mod of the HBO series Game of Thrones simulating it's location and factions, it's bretty good

You dont have a window to choose characters from, your exported character and your current character are required to have the same name or it wont import.

ACoK is shit where every faction is identical.

nuh uh

...

...

Oh it's that guy who can't even get past the menu, again.

You start out not being a king. It's better to be a king than to not be a king. Therefore, become king.
This is just the filling in the bait.
A)Who the fuck needs this in a videogame?
B)The story of how one man became emperor is pretty compelling, and you get to play it out yourself.

Overall, 2/10 made me reply

So, being a newfag, I put points into every skill, but only the highest skill counts for my party. Am I weak sauce with all those wasted skill points?

I also recruited a bunch of commoner heroes, (that obviously have no interest in working with nobles) is that going to fuck up my imperial ambition?

Does M+B/W always crash when you alt-tab or am I just super lucky?

How do I start earning better money? Between small upgrades and salaries I'm not really getting rich. Do those ransom people buy common bandits? Doesn't seem so.

I don't really want to join a lord's banner, but should I?

no
you don't have to become someone's vassal but being at least a mercenary is very beneficial.
You can dismiss companions at any time. They'll disappear for a few weeks and then they'll randomly spawn in taverns around the map, and then you can recruit them back if you want them and find them.
Yes. Technically you can get as many skill points as you can invest but once you get to level 30 or so don't expect to level up, invest your points wisely.

Sometimes. Fiddle around with the settings in the launcher if it keeps crashing
Invest points in prisoner management. Choose a faction and start befriending them. Join their side during battles, but don't waste your units fighting the enemy (since you're party will be mostly low tier in the early game). Become a mercenary as soon as possible.

fixed it for ya

magnificent

...

Some skills stack I think.
Plus, people get knocked out and then you cant access their party skills until they recover.
So for example if your top medic gets KOd in battle then your own medic skills may be very valuable.

Only in a small way. When you get your own kingdom you get a relation penalty if you give non nobles land. You can just keep them in your own party as fighters though.

You are just lucky.
On mine it doesnt crash but it sometimes traps the mouse in the game window so I cant move it to my other screen.

Leadership is the best skill in the game financially. Among other things It reduces your troop costs. Which saves you a lot of money.
Prisoner management is good too. Yes the ransom broker will buy common bandits. Ransoming nobles is slow because you have to wait for the faction to contact you.

Some quests make decent money like ransoming the girl. Some are awful and you lose money in the time you waste like tracking down random bandits.

If you want to be super autistic you can learn all the goods prices and make tonnes of money trading.

Become a mercenary. So you get paid from one faction. If you become a vassal it ties you to that faction.
If you plan to start your own kingdom never help one faction to become super strong. Because they will be a powerful enemy in future when you are king.

I've got a quest to hunt down some deserters around a city. I keep widening and narrowing my circles around said city, from very big – over a day away circling to circle right around the city itself. I cannot find these fucking deserters after 10 days time, wtf do?

ctrl + t

do

Basically they can wander to anywhere. I've gotten a quest to hunt looters from Yalen and the final group was all the way in Sarranid lands. Cheating is perfectly acceptable for those quests.

ctrl+t didn't do anything for me.

what's the consequence of failing a quest?

Did you enable cheats?
Some of your companions may complain. It may bring a relation loss with the city that gave you the quest as well.

so, after i just give the fuck up and go wandering i catch sight of the bastards. they are too fucking fast though, i had chase them for 3 days, i bought food from villages to raise my moral and finally they just for whatever reason turned around and let me kill them proper. JHC

FROGGED

This is honestly one of my favorite mods of all time. I usually now just use kanabos and some of the 200-300 length spears just for conveniences sake.

What's the name of it? I've got a (balanced iirc) su yari pike at 75/335 haven't seen any longer than it. No strength requirement might be the best thing about it, just rack up cash and you're set
Tetsubo > wooden club/stick

this is the greatest webm I've ever saved

ayo hol' up, people unironically play Warband's single player? Multiplayer's where it's at.

lol

I think it is was a balanced omi yari or something like that. I found it pretty often at any of the Mori capitals. It has a length of 375, but it really does not see much use since 335 is probably the cut off point for how practical something is.

This is you right now.

They don't look a cut field to me.

Geyer was a noble

Disgusting.

Not my fault idiots like yourself dropped out of high school.

too autistic

A disgraced noble, and a noble whose beliefs were in line with Muntzer's. It should be noted, the actual musical notation for that song was written by a National Socialist.

I said to go to Holla Forums because of what you wrote, because it reeked of Marxist thought. And, regardless if he was disgraced, he was still a noble.

Autistic people would easily see the colored ID you dumb fuck. I called you an idiot because I was writing about how to better structure posts, and despite me posting the autism images (the other post of mine had one as well) as a joke, implying that I was being an Aspie about the situation (though it was legitimate criticism), you still call me retarded. Also, because you obviously don't know how to use capitals and periods. Or are you pretending to be a different user, (You)?

*also, several leftist organizations did use the song as their anthem, or sang it like any other revolutionist song

This is actually kinda fun, even ignoring the light porn.

I'm playing as a raging lesbian that's wooing all the best ladies (no gender restriction AND polygamy).
I also capture peasant women to add to my harem.

I gave a noble lady the (fake) D during a secret visit. Needless to say, her family hates my guts now and I lost honor.

what's up guys, on my play through.
just bought some heraldic mail, looks good man
searching all over fuck for my last compatible follower (according the wiki).

Peasants don't fit the Marxist definition of Proletariat. They'd be perfectly fine living in Serfdom, but they despise the relative freedom of modern, industrial society.

Spoken like a true porker.

How does M+B/W generate army sizes? Is it based on time or does it just scale to the player's army or player's level or wut?

What, the NPC armies? Bandits generate based on army templates and Lords get reinforced up to a cap determined by their renown, their holdings and the difficulty level.

no, i just mean when i was roaming the map in the first few days the bandits armies are all quite small maybe 6-20 and now they are like 6-50.

depends really, Because sometimes they defeat other lords army or manhunters with high prisoner stacks

you can't just forget hundreds of years of butter tradition

If you talk to a lady and she doesn't say something with 3 dots in the end you can confess your love and she'll answer positively 100% of the time.
I don't remember the exact quotes but it's anything with 3 dots in the end, they normally say "now, if you will excuse me…" or "it would be nice to see you later…"
t. wishes he was as successful with real women as he is with virtual women.

the cunt was a dick tease, the next time i talked to her she told me was betrothed.

just reinstalled warband and put dickplomacy in it with that patch for the map
its telling my it's WSE only works up to version 1168, and the game is at 1172 do i need it?

If you put the lord permanently in prison at least they'll never get married.

It probably wasn't her choice.

It's really good on horseback since you can cuck all the spearmen since the can't touch you. You really gotta watch for the faggots with the banners because it's hard to judge where the hitbox is to dodge it.

hey, after i upgraded some troops/armour and started hunting sea raiders because i was fucking broke, i found that after six battles i've killed every single combatant and never get a prisoner. wtf?

well there's your problem

Because you killed them. You need to knock them unconscious. Get a blunt weapon if you're going for the slave trade.

If you want to get prisoners you have to defeat your enemies with blunt weapons. They have a "b" after their damage number. If you're hobo kicking deals blunt damage and so does running someone over with a horse (horse charge) but you really want a blunt weapon.

This, if you have absolutely no blunt weapons and need to capture someone don't bother using fists. Instead, use your weapon to block and kick them into submission.

ah, shit ok thanks, yeah my sword sisters are like femapaladins of meh justice.

Not to mention kicking has better range than fists, can be done while you hold an attack, has guaranteed and very long flinch, cannot be blocked and prevents you from starting a new attack for much less time than anything else in game.
Kicking is so good i don't understand why other people rarely use it in multiplayer while i kick my opponent on almost every fight.

It's pretty great, I don't recommend it when you have a fuckhuge stack following you though.

That's not what I meant, but never mind really, are you pulling my leg? It should not have been difficult.

Like people said you need blunt weapons.
If you recruit slave drivers (or whatever they are called) to your army they use blunt weapons. Dont level them up because they go to sharp weapons.

You can issue an order to your troops to use blunt weapons only. If they dont have blunt weapons they will punch the enemy which is best saved until theres only a few enemies left.

why the fuck is this not a feature by default, that shit's great

bump

are you mentally challenged?

yes

New Thread?

Are you not?

Those banners are without a doubt some of the best anti cavalry units. I till don't get what they are meant to do outside of that. Are they for organization purposes to see your troops?

I just want my Hyborian Age mod.

Are you not?
