It's not like the Carnegie study was the only one ever done, if anything Stalin is getting more popular, so I don't see how that's just bending reality for the sake of ideology.
Most Americans respect the founding fathers without any desire to live under them that doesn't mean they don't gaf about them.And it really raises a lot of questions that if the average Russian is cool with Stalin's legacy why exactly is that since he allegedly killed millions of them? "De-Stalinization" has been an ongoing process since 1956 and since 1990 the population has been subjected to open anti-communist propaganda, so why don't they all hate Stalin yet? Why are some studies showing he's more popular?
I think you're quite a fool if you think the radical Left is indifferent to Stalin or the Soviet legacy. And they might not be the majority of the population but they are significant and our comrades in the struggle against global capital.
