I usually play engineer and enjoy driving my sunderer all the way from the warp gate to wherever the action is, in 1st person with my headlights on. Cozy as fuck.

I just like having the option to pull armor in case the other side shows up with a bunch of shit out of nowhere from the next base on the lattice line. Same for the turrets, but the hacking turrets make it safer when you're starting an attack rather than the vehicle terminal which helps more towards the end when you're going to start pushing the next base. They don't really help since it's easier to just blow them up though.

The problem with sights for vehicles is that the various zooms just causes people to shoot aircraft, Threat Detection, being the one everyone recommends, now only highlights vehicles, and I don't think anyone uses NVO.

which nc max weapon fills you with the most impotent rage and salt when it kills you? I'm thinking of upping my skillsuit level.

I don't really die to NC maxes. Ravens, I guess.

I've never had an issue with NC maxs tbh and I've actually bullied afew of them with tank mines

yeah, their default loadout is kinda shit against that, people can just walk up and take your lunch money

it's easier to use C4 though but C4 doesn't do as much damage

Autoshotgun. Fills a entire room with lead and just fucks shit up close range.

Those shotguns mounted on harassers and ravens are bullshit tho, they literally have a 0 second kill time if you can land most of the bullets

Default weapon for heavies supposedly accurate if you compare with the TR version, but I don`t die that much to them oddly

the default nc lmg is only more accurate on the first shot in practice. it has around the same bloom and recoil per second, but much lower rate of fire so it jerks around a lot, and it does less damage per second besides.

Am I the only one what really prefers the NC aesthetic?
TR is too rounded, and Vanu just looks gay as hell. NC, meanwhile, looks like a bunch of rough-rider spaceminer confederates. Which is what everyone ought to strive for, I always figured.

To be fair, some of the cosmetics for TR are pretty sweet. I just love that bulky squareplate much more.
I love that in most anything, but unfortunately it is rather rare these days. Nobody loves the gritty look any more.

That's because these days every scifi thing has to feature hexes and smooth alien bullshit. Only recent game I've played that still does the blocky industrial feel is Titanfall 2.

Maybe it's because most of my exposure to sci-fi was Halo type stuff, but I can't really get in to any sci-fi what don't stick massive armored plates with hard edges every which way.
I guess that's a remnant of the past, when smooth edges were harder to make.

I also prefer bulky plates over bullshit self sealing space magic. Now, that reminded me of Dead Space, while it has bullshit space magic as a way to explain you not getting spaced as soon as you take a single hit while in an oxygen-less area, still has bulky armor plates and cool looking armor.

The concept of BFRs itself is pure cancer. Imagine you're playing MGO3 and you can repair to those walker gears that have a minigun.

Only way to have giant robots in the game would be to make them AI controlled where they go and fuck each other's shit near say, The Crown and that probably needs a game redesign because every base is complete shit and you can't really use a base to attack another since you rely on Sunderer drivers as the middle men.
