Adam destroyed himself with drugs. I know this is the case, as there is NO way he in a right mind would have subscribed to a Marxist bullshit ideology on his own.
Either that or a fear of being left behind by the times… maybe both. Either way, I used to sympathize with Adam and I some ways still do. I hope that he's still in there somewhere, just trying to get out one way or another.
