Well if you want the best for the original I'd go with Momoyo's for the Kawakami war, that has all the classmates acting out this huge Dynasty Warriors musou battle with Yamato as tactician. Kazuki's is nice as she's a genki girl and I never tire of her coming when called with that dog whistle. She's got good moments as well, lots of lovey stuff. Miyako is a personal favourite since she finally gets Yamato. Path is short but she learns to be less possessive. Yuki's path is pretty much corruption, she's a masochist and a bit of a pervert. You know what they say about the quiet ones. Christine is one of the least strong but her dere side is pretty sweet. There's this once scene in S where she has Yamato on the floor in the kitchen and giving him a footjob but all the residents want to have lunch, so Yamato has to think on his feet and tell them to go to other rooms.
Once you've got that done though, there's the Agave path which is like a complete path. Features the Itagaki sisters and is pretty good. Also got a few misc routes as well, including one with a Christmas cake teacher.
Then we get to Majikoi S. All the previous main heroines have afterstories here, which are mostly sex. Yuki's and Kazuki's are all sex. This time around five more heroines are added. Tatsuko is a clingy older sister from the Agave path. She's a sleepy airhead but she's good. Kokoro is kind of a bitch but with some butt smacks, her personality gets straightened out and she turns out sweet. Margit who looks over Chris is another hard Masochist, even so that Yamato's father comments that she remind him of his mother. There's Tsubame and she's… okay I guess? She shows up, does her thing but she's not really that interesting of a character. And of course Monshiro, third in line for Kuki Corp. Yamato takes on the role of her butler over the summer.
And to top all that off, they introduce a few more characters as well.
Then after that comes Majikoi A 1 to 5. Each digit has 3 routes/afterstories for the different heroines. Benkei, Seiso and a few others.
It is a long ass series. But it has a heroine you'll probably like and the atmosphere around Cap's group is always lively and funny. It didn't feel like a chore to try and finish this when other VNs do sometimes.
So just go with anyone, you really can't go wrong.
