That makes it worse, the only time anyone plays water is if they have no characters in other elements or resists force them to.

Xeno Cocytus guns and custom turtle maces might be what water needs to be good, since the characters themselves are pretty balanced.

Quick advice. /gbfg/: What should I do with all these excess SR weapons. Should I reduce or fodder the ones that aren't worth keeping?
Context: I'm the user who started right before the Romeo&Juliet event, and foolishly bought a weapon stash before the change in inventory size. So I used it to as a dump for weapons that looked interesting enough not to fodder/reduce. Forward to 5 months later, and now I've got 3 out of the 6 element weapon grids SSRed (3 of the 4 main elements, working in water, then light and dark now), so here we are.

I think it's best if you use the event stuff as fodder. Stuff you got out of the gacha reduces for more. Do you know which class weapon you're going for?

I'm still deliberating whether to finish Oliver (picked up the replica for the bounty bonus for farming), or get a Nirvana or Ascalon (I can reduce the gatcha staffs since I'm not using them, or if I go with sword i can buy the casino swords for the same purpose).

In that case, i believe you can also use gacha SR's as fodder, at least the ones you don't need for weapon stones for either your favorite grid or class weapon.

If you are only 1 card away and called reach, the tile will auto discard either until the tile bin is empty, or that you can call "ツモ", or "ロン", but I'm not sure of the differences…

There was some other condition if you called a "Chi" or "pon/kan", but I usually don't use them.

Tsumo/ツモ is completing a hand with a tile you drew yourself. ロン/Ron is completing a hand with a tile your opponent discarded.

If you mean agni's fire wand, go ahead its shit.
You might also want to buy the SR weapon tickets since those are worth 15 stones each (x15 more for each silver ingot you are willing to throw at them).
Event/farmeable drop SSRs are worth 20 each, gacha SSRs 200.

You can only buy 4 of the event weapons form the shop, but they very rarely drop from the Extreme raids so it's possible farm more of them, similar to the showdown fights.

Why do you need all those weapons?
If you are new you should be focusing into one element before diving into the rainbow meta, just prioritize getting the weapon+seal for your strongest setup/grid.

Yes it would be very stupid. You'd only get 20 weapon fragments and those fists are rather unique.
They can be 4 starred pretty easily, have a normal II skill which are mostly limited to story character gacha ssr weapons and you can also upgrade them with a second skill which is new.

Pretty stupid IMO, since you only get 2 of them in the game and you can now skill them up with some damage cap up skills. And I don't even know if they count as gacha weapons for reducing.

Correction, you'd get 80 fragments from them since they come with 3 stars.
If you're totally sure you won't be using them go ahead, but they're pretty good to head start a earth grid which would be a good idea in this rainbow meta.

I wouldn't reduce any of the 30k weapons. If your going for the 4th uncap on the Water fists, you only need 20 melee stones, which is really easy to come by, Colossus/Tiamat magna's drop SSR fists that you can reduce pretty safely, since they aren't part of magna grids (Tiamat fists are placeholders until you fill wind with bolts).

You get 100 Weapon stones, I reduced my free SSR bahamut gun for the 100 gunstones from the Blue sky event.

Expanding on this, you should get the SR tickets, since they are a 1/8 chance of getting you a fist.
Get them one at a time and draw until you get a fist so you don't end up wasting pendants, it ain't a SSR chance in hell.
Then you stick steel bricks from the cassino in them until reducing it gives you the amount of fragments you need.

I was under the impression that maybe if I could do a ton of damage and maybe kill it on my own it would net me a ton of pendants but it really didn't.

It caps at 2x for the Extreme raids.

On extreme+ raids though, that goes up like a rocket.

I'm less than a month in, this is the situation.
I didn't manage to get the gw dagger last war since I was rank 20 or something, so I'm making that my first priority.
In order to get there thou, I need to fix up my water grid and if possible I'd like to get something for the others too, just in case I'll need them later on, so I'll take all I can get.
I'm still undecided wether to keep pushing on wind and start draw Korwa, then get Christina and start working on Seofon. Or switch to fire, start draw Yuel and work on Tien, but I fear fire won't go far without Percival (and I'm not willing to drop 50 bucks on this).
Water feels ok the way it is and I don't really have any wishes for more characters there. Earth wise, I don't really like any of the characters, but I feel like I need some basic setup even if it's just for farming water magnas.
As much as I like many of the light and dark characters, both elements will stay out of the picture for a long long time still (but then again, getting a couple cerberus weapons for when you'll want to start on dark, or even just to oneshot monsters in angel halo, surely can't hurt).

This might seem kinda random, but you should put Lowain in the fourth slot in your water party since his ougi doesn't contribute 10% to the others.

Focus on Wind, you won't regret it.

MLB your Anat with the copies from the casino to get a 80% elemental boost, get the RotB spear with it's seal and leech tiamat.

You absolutely need to get Korwa since she's a fucking beast in any element but it's better to wait for a surprise ticket to get her and save your SD to get a strong legfest limited in the future like Rosetta, Katalina, Zodiacs, etc.

I keep him there because he tends to DA/TA more than the other party members and he usually gets to use his ougi alone and before the others.
Since it's all random it's unreliable as fuck, but he has a chance at removing debuffs or buffing crit rate before the other party members move.
To be honest, I'd like to put him in the first spot, too bad you can't move Gran.
What's the benefit of putting him in 4th? Does he get to use his ougi more often?

Actually, it doesn't affect how often he ougis.
It's just that, when he ougis, the other characters don't get 10% charge bar, while he does receive the 10% from other characters.
So if you stick him on the fourth slot, he will receive charge bar from everyone else, and you won't waste the fourth character's 10%.

I made an account on December and I still don't know shit about the game or the direction I want to go in. I'm sorta just playing the story mode slowly and doing events because somehow I find it fun.

Jokes aside, that is most likely the best way to play this game, because if you grind even just an event too hard you can start to feel the burn out. If you care more about your dick than you do about metas you'll be a happier user guaranteed.

Sadly the account wasn't created during a legfest, so I'm at the RNG's mercy for those limiteds. The SD is approaching and I'm still enjoying the game so I won't mind dropping a few bucks, but Korwa really is my best option.
I had 15k crystals last legfest and only got Thor and the Katapillar out of it. I'm at 5k crystals now and I don't expect to get past the 9k mark for the next one.

I think I made a grave mistake this rise of the beast event.

On your 1st image. Seofon/Korwa don't have too much synergy together in the sense that Seofon buffs teams Ougi damage, and has Korwa doesn't do any ougi damage. Seofon also has %100 TA up when he has his 3 sword stacks up.
The Spear is useful though, since with Sword man, you'll want to run Holy Saber, and having a spear to run Double Trouble 3 helps with DA/TA.

With your fire Pros/Cons, Yuel and Perci are level 100 characters (so is Tien if you want to drop 3 gold bars on her), so you'll want to consider that a con in the short term, since it takes a while for them to reach level 100. Another thing with team compositions is races and Bahamut weapons, I had Ghandgouza last GW, but ended up running Teena (SR) since my Bahamut dagger only affected humans/erunes.

With Water, if you Start-D Korwa, you might want to look into Feower, another Eternals character. He can extend Korwa's buffs, and since his unlock weapon is the GW Dagger, you'll upgrade the 30/30 DA/TA to 35 DA/TA in whatever element you changed it to.

I can't say much about earth since you don't have anything for it, if your looking to start earth, your waiting on whatever Legfes pulls you get, if your lucky enough to get Alexei, you can just use whatever with her.

Using pendants on canes is generally a bad idea as you want to eventually start replacing them for the superior fire magna weapon the ancient ecke sachs, If you already finished your first grid and can mvp your own magnas you are better using pendants on dark/light as their magna weapon drop rate is lower.

Finished grinding the RoTB Pendants for my gold nuggets. Also did a full rotation of Omegas and kept a record of what dropped, Leviathan was really generous today.

Well it is not like I have anything on wind grid anyway so it is still a boost if I get it to lvl 120.

I have that sword, and the TA always procs for me only after the charged attack goes off. The TA rate for autoattacks before a CA doesn't seem to be any different It's great in long raids that last more than 10 rounds, not so much in short fights or pendant farms.
I would recommend buying the spear instead though for the grid, if you haven't already. If you kept a FLBed Dandelion from the previous event, that might be a better mainhand weapon for your arcane duelist main. The whipsword doesn't do anything in the grid besides being a stat stick until you unlock it's 4*, but by that time you'll probably be deep in the windmeme that you won't fit it in the grid any more.

Water team worst team, weak grid, weak summons, but the addition of Four might turn things around ?

Fire team's got four SSRs on it with good synergy, but missing some serious grid action and in need of a more serious fire summon.

How do I build around this? which character do I need? I was thinking of using it for zahlhamelina's enmity but she has paper defenses and would die whenever she's actually targeted, I don't know if I should get this harp or some other element's weapon or more gold.

No, it only makes your grind a little challenging, but once you get your grid set up, it usually doesn't matter until you hit 101+. You can get by usually with the free story characters alone.

I've seen people soloing hard content with 2x GW characters and the one you get from the fixed gatcha at the beginning, so I doubt you can get royally fucked, unless you start with lady grey, pull another dark character and you have to start on a dark grid.

There is no mechanics like that,but you start with two SSR on for the tutorial and the other from the pinboard missions,you can also clear most of the content of the game with SR's as long as your grid is strong enough so if thats your worry just play the game. At the same there is a few things that you can do to avoid getting fucked by the gacha if you like the game and decide to play a little bit more serious, one of them is rolling only on legfest SSR's rates are doubled during this period , second one is paying 25 bucks for the stardash that allows you pick a SSR character of your choice as long as is not limited , if its a limited character the only way to stardash them is if the account was created when the limited character was avaliable on the gacha. There is also surprise tickets that work simillary as your stardash that can be bought for 25 bucks if you want characters in particular and are avaliable every few months. Outside of that rerolling until you get a "good starting account" its the best option if you intend to never spend a cent on the game.

all three weapons are good . harp is the best mainhand for ss dark , bow is simply broken , the sword is the best unk currently for dark .

the only downside is that the bow give you a 20% hp malus so you have to be careful , the harp is a fucking harp , and the sword will be likely replaced by xeno diablos weapons

The bow has Tyranny 2, minus 20% HP but a Massive normal ATK up which is 18% at level 10. The harp has Big ATK up and if it's your mainhand you are immune to skill-sealing debuffs, your party has debuff success rate up and Skill DMG Cap up. The ougi on the harp also clears one debuff from the entire raid.

Sorry, small mistake. Your entire party is immune against skill-sealing debuffs. The Skill damage cap up is 20%.

Every time I saw an omega summon I thought it boosted a certain characters skills and I was just leveling up every SSR weapon and putting it on my grid just to beef up my attack instead of looking at the skills.

My current fire team all thanks to legfest. I take it that crew member position also matters right? I should leech colossus omega for those weapons then, would it be worth leveling the SR omega weapons?
