Windows 10 creator's update with "game mode" is out now so I gave it a try. The FPS difference is barely noticeable unless you're running a ton of background processes. There is one major thing I noticed though. There is no longer a delay when alt tabbing out of fullscreen games. This was my most hated thing for ages.
