If I remember correctly basically it's like some murder mystery where you team up with a robot and try to figure out who killed their creator or something. The main character is pretty much just a self-insert of you the player, there is even a scene where you can choose what your preferred pronouns are.

Its a Visual Novel. Don't call it a game. Drinks are choices. Most drinks/dialogue choices are meaningless. A few drinks/dialogue choices unlock endings. In VNs you usually choose a response and in this one its obscured by the fact that you can mix different drinks instead. The only difference between the two is that you don't get a popup saying "Serve Drink: X, Y or Z".

The shit that happened off-screen could barely even be called cyberpunk either and the characters were mostly shit too.

I played this game for one reason: PC-98 style art. And I got it. Was it as good as most PC-98 titles? Not really. But it was enough. I just can't get enough of it.

It's really not as pretty though.

The writing and the characters are not bad per se but the setting they are in is completely fucking wasted on the kind of "game" it's stuck with. Especially with how excellent the art assets and the music is.

It's not papers please because the gameplay is just an excuse to carry the narrative instead of being a part of it. And it's not a good VN either because most choices you make are meaningless and have next to no impact.

The only one I can think of is obsidian, but even then the sjw's inside eventually drove everyone else out.
