The user giving a specific request and not a vague idea. That as well as providing sources for what you want for a request, that being multiple pictures of the character.

It's simple. Ask yourself if the drawfag would want to see the image completed himself, and if it's worth the effort to make. The best requests are both interesting in some manner (amusing, arousing, aesthetic, etc) and simple to draw.
