Why doesn't Macau get used as a setting in video games, unlike Hong Kong which is a setting in a shitton of games?

>Why does get more stories involving it than ?
It really is a mystery.

Because nobody except you and I know what Macau is much less where it's located.

How is Macau not well known?

I have never heard of it and I'm sure the average westerner hasn't as well.

At most, it would have been mentioned in a history book about areas in China controlled by Europeans and then promptly forgotten.

Hell, there's fucking heresy afoot or people just generally don't know about the gambling mecca of East Asia.

...

...

Quite possibly because Macau is fucking tiny and all it has is a bunch of casinos and an old church.

Only Asians know of it. It's one of the most interesting places on Earth, but it's also catering to one specific kind of userbase. Rich chinks who want to store their money abroad but don't want to risk going all over to Canada to do so and who are also fluent in Portuguese.

If you want to see something that uses it as a setting, there's always Gamble Fish.

Found the portumonkey.

Name 5 that aren't Sleeping Dogs. Worst case I get 5 new games to try out.

Never mind. This still isn't shittons, particularly when you consider many of these games only have single levels set in Hong Kong (Deus Ex though it's a big one, Hitman games) and a few (Generals, Wargame, BF4) only stick you in a generic map and tell you it's HK. Also a lot of these are fairly obscure.

The only games i'd say that also count are Fear Effect, Stranglehold, Wreckless: Yakuza Missions, Shadowrun and Shenmue 2

Name some for macau then.

this user will never know his real parents after having been traded off as a baby during Francoist years

That wasn't the point user.

I forgot Stranglehold.

Because burgers, especially liberal burgers, only go to the most overrated shitholes known to men.
The only recent AAA game with a decent uniqure Open World setting I can think of was Just Cause 3.

Can't wait until all the separatists to fuck your shithole of a country up Castellan.

I finally have a reason to post this image.

Top HUE
How's living under Spain's shadow like?

I'm surprised a Castellan fag can even speak any other language but their bastardization of the actual Spanish language, speaking of which, shouldn't you be lurking hispachan?

Also a reminder that half the country hates you and that Spic nationalism has always been a shitty meme.

Why can't the non-commie Taiwanese or Hong Kongs make good videogames or at least any games above chink shovelware quality?
