I can't make it any easier than this really, details are provided in the wall of text below:

Xenoblade X currently runs on cemu in a state described as playable. It's a broad term, but in this particular case it means minor glitches here and there, but nothing game breaking or experience ruining. Probably.

Here's magnet for Undubbed and uncensored european version

I dunno what differences are between this and NA version, as well as I can't be assed to track down latest version of the undub and game image separately and do the busywork.
I played through this version once, and am replaying it again and so far only issues are
1 - Borked lipsync, because it's a fan made undub
2 - No online content as we're indulging in big fat act of piracy right there. But as far as I know online missions don't have any exclusive quests or monsters that you can't access online. World bosses are reskins of top tier in-game tyrants and time attack missions with unique enemies are available after you beat the story in offline mode as well. If I'm mistaken there please correct me.
3 - Sound sometimes it glitches out in 1.7.2, but you can remedy it by going into save menu once or twice. Dunno about later versions. It's not nowhere near as severe as it was in previous versions though.
Voices not being loud enough is game's problem, not emulator's, you can't fix it.
4 - Text is still cucked 8-4 translation so you gotta deal with old internet memes and characterization mismatches between spoken and subbed lines.
It supposedly works both on CEMU and real WiiU. I don't have WiiU to confirm it though.

If you know japanese just get japanese version holy shit. There is no reason to read half-assed translation if you can play the original. You have to find jap version yourself though. Otherwise treat it like crabstick subs or something. Story is perfectly understandable and voice acting does all the characterization it needs.

You can get the latest public version of CEMU at
cemu.info/
However
Xenoblade X in particular runs faster on old version 1.7.2. You can get it from MEGA

Whether to run it on newest or 1.7.2 version is up to you. As it stands you will be trading accuracy for speed or vice versa. If you have top of the line computer, chances are you will run it at full speed on new version, so try it first. 1.7.2 runs it at full speed even on medium hardware, but again it has minor glitches.

Also download shader chache. I won't go into detail, you can read about it somewhere else, but using it will save your time. Put it into CEMU's shaderCache\transferable folder.

First time when you run it will take quite some time to compile it, but on subsequent runs it will be much faster.
It needs to fully recompile between different CEMU versions though, so keep that in mind and don't freak out when it does.

Once everything is downloaded - extract game's archive somewhere. It's 20+ gigs so be prepared.
Then in cemu open file called space travel somewhere in game's folder. You can't open the wrong file so it's easy.
There you go, you can play.
I gotta say that I think you need at least 16 gb of ram, as from my experience CEMU alone eats about 10 gb.
So if you only have 8 or 12 gigs chances are you won't get full speed even with the GTX 1080 and whatever was the last uncucked i7 before they made it W10 exclusive.

I'm not going to bump this or respond to shitposting and baits because if there is no interest, then fuck it. I'm also leaving home after this so this is gonna be (1) and done op for a while.
If you have any questions about setting up or the game itself I will try to help you however from my phone.
Just note that this is not CEMU thread or emulation general, so I won't be able to help you with Zelda or Bayonetta or whatever. There are separate threads for that.
If you're playing on real WiiU you're still welcome as I just want to discuss a video game, I don't give a fuck how exactly are you playing it.

Why am I doing it? Because Xenoblade X blew me away. I didn't expect it to be such big, complex, well designed and compelling game. It's very anime but it tries its best to not be generic space fantasy, and as far as I'm concerned it succeeds
It does open world right, it does mecha/on foot gameplay right, it does everything just right.
The only thing I had problem with initially is of course dreaded cool-down combat. But as I played it I realized how different it is from what you get in most modern MMOs. It's fast, it's reactive, instead of having 40 abilities on screen it forces you to only choose 8 and build you tactics around them, it is the combat system that MMOs should have really. And it works on mechs even better, since instead of arbitrary abilities you're using actual equipment you yourself select put on your machine. And there is no shitty red dots on the ground for you to run away from, you actually gotta watch your enemies.

Story is great, side content is enormous, it puts to shame all those copypasted Ubisoft open world games without being one. Everything you do matters, it's not a fucking checklist. There is shitton of mechanics, nuances and customization going on, I was waiting for this open world sci-fi RPG since when? Deus Ex? Syndicate?
It's not cyberpunk of course, but is a sci-fi as you can get before going star wars.
I can't shill it enough really.

It's free, it's partially uncensored and you're showing big virtual middle finger to NOA's jewery. Play it faggots.

Doing gods work, OP

I disagree, I think this game had a ton of issues that undermine the fuck out of it.
Does this shit fix the pop in?

All interest lost. Let me know when someone that fixes that faggotry.

No.

I can't get Xenoblade 1 to work on Dolphin, and for obvious reasons I'm not playing 2 before 1.

It's worse than the original in every fucking way and I say that as someone who hyped it to hell and back even through the delays. Just play it instead and you'll be fucking embarrassed about how much you praised this mediocre pile.

XB1 sucked dick tbh. It was a "generic chosen one hero of choseness saving the world because sword of chosen ones chose him to be the chosen one of choseness with villains turning out to not be all that evils but still needed to be defeated: the JRPG but with shitty mmo combat devoid of any interesting things that make JPRGs worth playing like summoning or intricate magic synergies. And being xeno games without mechs, what the shit.
If XBX is indeed worse than that though, then no wonder nobody gives a shit.

This is the big one, there was a similar lack of giant mecha in Xenosaga 1 AGWS are not giant mecha but powered armors. I don't see why they do that in the first game of every new series they create.

Please, tell me it's actually dolphin porn.

They are unrelated, not direct sequels, not even set in the same universe. It's like final fantasy.

I would need to play it again to find out, but while the AGWS are small as mechs go, I wouldn't call them power armors. Its not really an armor as the pilot is contained entirely in the torso/head, iirc. I think the stated reason for that was there was no actual on board generator/engine, and instead they relied on a field generated by the ship they supported for energy needs. So, it could be smaller.

Dunno what the logic behind the later mechs were, because I never got through the series.

It's implied that Mira is Bionis though.

I couldn't even get to my first proper mech in Xenosaga so boring it was. Maybe I should give it another chance sometime.

That's how all non-Anima/Zohar powered mecha/gears work in Gears/Saga. The AMWS (the bigger mechs like Albedo's Simeon in 1 and the general use federation army mechs from 2 and 3) also use Slave Generator systems.

Actually, you can take a japanese copy , edit a character there with the breast slider there, then copy the avatarmakedata save file to a murican one. The change will sticks.

So you can get even less censorship this way.

Err I forgot, for that , you need to save the character you made. it's X, then first option.

THIS.

They could at least take ten seconds to Ctrl-H "Skells" back to "Dolls", and reinsert all the Xenogears references.

That doesn't happen until the first scene of the second game. You are stuck with itty bitty 20ft tall mech suits in the first game.

god that face, its like it was taken straight out of that one "how to draw anime" booklet. its so unbelievably disgusting and anti aesthetic.

Is there an uncucked version out there?
Can you install cemu in mint cinnamon?

No idea what that is. Cemu is closed source software so I doubt it run on anything other than good old windows.
