So, if we have to grow food, and the field needs 8h, and we have 8 people that can do it, 1h/p.

If I was a NEET and do 1h work in 2h, then I do 2h.
If you were a farmer and can do it in 0.5h, you do 0.5h.

HOWEVER!
If there is no work to be done, AKA automation, OR if you cannot work, you don't work, or you labor the way you can.
