1 - Nepgear's damage is all INT based, and INT based attacks do much more damage to the break gauge than STR based attacks.
2 - only Gear has the full spell set, which makes her somewhat more versatile than other casters.
3 - on top of doing nice break damage, the top tier magic hits a boss' HP like a runaway train carrying high yield explosives, so Nepgear hits as hard as Uni, Noire, and other high tier STR girls on top of breaking bosses faster.

There's no characters that are unacceptably low, but some are definitely at a disadvantage. Ram and Rom are a great example. Their moves don't combo well into each other and have long recovery times. In comparison, Noire's moves combo so well into each other that she can constantly be attacking, and this is what you want for when a boss is down. This isn't to say Rom and Ram can't bring the pain, especially since Ram has moderately spammable, INT based attacks to drop break gauge. They just don't do it as efficiently as Nepgear.

That's because Nepgear is best girl. It has nothing to do with INT based attacks. She's just 100% best at everything, including fighting.

I beat Blanc vs Zombies and started the Noire SRPG. I definitely liked Blanc's game but I wish the part with the second-string CPUs was longer. Noire's game is a bit bizarre; it's sort of fun so far but it was obviously coded by retarded monkeys.

I'm tempted to try the spinoffs on PC, I thought they were horrible on Vita.

Nep U and Blanc's comfy with a 360 pad. I actually preferred the early game of Nep U over Blanc but now that I beat both I prefer Blanc. Either way if you didn't like them on Vita though, they still are the same pretty much so I don't know if they'd warrant a rebuy (but then Neptunia games are on sale a lot so usually $5 isn't too uncommon these days).

Well the framerate on the PC for Nep U and Blanc are fine, at least a constant 60 FPS for sure all around, and silky smooth. Noire's game though is locked to 30 FPS, even though there's in-game video options to up it to 120 FPS for it (which is honestly one of the more bizarre problems I've seen in a game for some time). Apparently you can use trainer programs to speed the game up but it makes it a bit unstable so there's a trade-off.

Are the sega hardgirls any good compared to the usual neptunia cast? Besides Segami it feels like I'd be better off just taking IF, her, and two goddesses.

You lift the blanket to check yourself. First thing you notice is that you're naked, except for the enormous amount of bandages applied to your body. Whoever did it must have a great obsession for bandages. You even have bandage on your dick!

You can't really tell how injured you are, because bandages cover everything, but even small movements hurt badly. Apart from that, you seem fine – you can move both of your legs and arms, fingers, even though you quickly give up playing with them due to the pain. There's nothing unusual with your vision or hearing.

No, that's Neptunia Action Unleashed with the breakable clothing.

MegaTag did away with the breakable clothing, and instead made the Neps who had broken clothing in Nep U, have it as a costume for MegaTag.

Thats actually a natural looking edit.

Nep U had breakable clothing; it's been awhile since I played it but basically if you took damage or did a heavy strike, that would tear your clothes. So basically unless you spam light strikes the whole match and never get hit, you'd get shredded clothes all the time. Which is fine, except that ruined clothing ISN'T cosmetic. Rush meter builds faster with ruined clothes, but you also get a damage resistance debuff at the same time. So if you want to tank in a sedate manner, you are shit out of luck. Now you CAN get resilient or unusually weak costumes, that can shred even easier or not at all, but those are earned in the mid-to-late game in Nep U.

In Blanc, that whole system is done away with across all regions; you now can use heavy strikes at will, and attach ruined clothes to any character with no gameplay effect at your option before a level. Given my impressions from the amount of the newer game that I've aced, heavy strikes are much more ingrained in many characters combo sets, so the old system was probably in part removed to accommodate these other movesheets. Also probably to make EXE charge harder since Nep U had a lot of maps with virtually unlimited monsters, and that plus broken clothes were prime territory for late-game-RB1/RB2-tier EXE abuse.

Then what was it that was axed in the translation?

As far as I can recall all the graphics are untouched, granted I haven't done much multiplayer yet but I have seen nearly all the cutscenes. About the only thing I can suggest is I think the characters that were first introduced in Blanc's game did NOT have any torn clothes to choose; those ripped costumes were ported over from Nep U so only the main 8 CPUs plus the two news reporter characters have those costumes since they were in that earlier game. As such Plutia, Peashy, Uzume and Tamsoft don't have any ripped graphics simply due to the fact they didn't bother making any for them in the first place.

Nothing, unless you are autistic enough to count the change in the opening of the game where Ram and Rom aren't reffered to as elementary schoolers anymore

If you've finished the True Ending, you're pretty much done, if you haven't gotten the True Ending, that's the only reason to go NG+.

It isn't. You'll have to play from an earlier save or through again in NG+ to get it. To get the true end you need to get the shares of each country to ~25% before a certain point in the story.

Oh I forgot to mention, NG+ isn't a requirement to get the True End, you can definitely get it on the first run through.

NG+ is only good if you enjoy literally destroying everything in one hit, or if you want to challenge the Level 999 Colosseum battles. You won't get anything from it, except the satisfaction you've done it.

Keep doing the same ones until one is at like 75%, and move on from there.

Shares increase the stats of the CPUs by a certain, marginal, percentage. It certainly isn't noticeable until you, say, get Planeptune to 100% in which case Neptunes base stats would be near her stats in HDD. So putting Nep, Noire, and Vert in this case in the front you'll certainly see nep dealing more damage on average. I don't know the exact formula but that's basically how it works.

I hope you know that the first game isn't in the current canonverse.

Just remember you need to be at 25% even for each nation for RB1's true end. The final battle will be Nep by herself so bring some top tier buffs and max out your EXE when possible.

Well, it's not that it's not "canon" but since the focus shifts to the Hyperdimension crew starting with the second game, it doesn't sequentially follow on. Actually RB1 has this odd placement in that it's really a post-Victory side story when you think about it, the Makers in that one seem to have tripped over to there with dimensional travel having been opened up previously.

Looks like I managed to scare (or annoy) everyone off from my quest. Maybe I should be proud of it (not really). Anyway, the quest is still open, if anyone wants to play.

I tried using a trainer to boost the XP I get because I'm really not into classic RPG grind in nep. However the trainer boosted the XP a bit too much. Went from level 8-50 in one stupid fight. I was expecting something more like X3 or X4 the regular XP.

Anyone know any way to get this?

I think there was an XP booster plan or an easy mode plan in RB2 but I don't remember how to get it.

There's an EXP booster (or something similarly named, it was a long time ago I last played it) plan, combined with Symbol attack gains, it really breaks game balance (i.e. makes it ridiculously easy to level up). They might be DLC items, though.

Wait… symbol destruction gives XP? Holy fuck. I think that might be all the XP I need. Not looking to break the game I just didn't want to do traditional grind of the same areas/monsters just to face a boss.

No, only with that plan (Symbol attack gains IIRC). Instantly destroy enemies and get XP+drops (except if the enemy is much stronger than you, in that case it simply drops you into the battle, so look out for that).

This thing tells that the Super EXP Up is a DLC item. So unless you want to buy it, you only have the normal EXP Up (but if you buy it, you should get it pretty much at the beginning of the game).

Get the first file (my.mixtape.moe/ljayyv.CT), rename it to something.cetrainer, open in cheatengine, select Mega Exp in ce window, right click, change script, find "add ecx,#1000000", and remove two or three zeros from the end. Just play around with the number util you find something reasonable.
