It was weird how it worked. The first time you scanned an FE one, the character showed up and gave you an accessory based on their outfit. The second time, they would ask you a question that, depending on your answer, either gave you a dupe of the first one you got or their other accessory. The third time, you could go fight them on the map and recruit them after the fight (they're not very good). Fourth time and beyond, they would show up and work in one of your shops, so you could buy either their accessories or a crappy weapon that looks like theirs.

Senran Kagura 2 is legitimately an excellent game trapped on a subpar system and Peach Beach Splash is one of the best multiplayer shooters I've played in years (I hope it gets a PC port because god damn do I hate playing shooters on consoles).
The rest of the games are really solid and enjoyable, the rhythm game is shit tho.
