If you're referring to guild wars, yes. You essentially need to grind at least a dagger and elementize it so you can do better with your favorite element. If you're talking about Lets Hang, then you should do it for the unknown and for damascus crystals.

You'll eventually want GW weapons so you can get the GW characters. If you're still early in the game, then just being able to have an SSR Light element of whatever type you want can be useful. GW weapon aside, you can get a lot of items and Angel weapons from the drawbox, so it's worth it.

Pretty much every event is worth playing because they give lots of items, especially the ones with tickets. The other ones still offer usually pretty good SSR weapon (at least when your grid is still what it is at start), event characters aren't usually horrible either and then there are damascus crystals.

I didn't know this had extreme version. I have actually done angel halo a lot during half ap events.

Make sure to turn on the item drop buff in the journey drop section of the shop! You'll be getting loads of low orbs while you grind them, very useful for future gw weapons.

The Nightmare halo is a new boss. it has 19mil HP, and the reason you'd want to grind it is if you have a GW character you want to 5*. If you have the GW character and I think the GW weapon in your grid, theres a chance for the halo at 50% to transform into a form dependent on that weapon, which will make it drop a material needed to 5* the character. Its hardly worth it to do it without aspiring to upgrade a guild war character.

I had to beat it since the first time was free.

But I didn't get lucky. I don't even have GW characters yet.

You actually NEED the GW character in your party for it to transform and drop the material, thats why it isn't worth it at all to kill if you don't have a GW character yet. Congrats on managing to beat it though, I had a rough time killing it and I was level 100 when I did I'm 101 now, this was two days ago

I actually made the dagger and sword from the materials theirselves and used the claw from the event for a gun, and considering you use a draph, you made a good decision for your grid.Black night is a 10/10 babe, and Vaseraga is a cool character. Lyria is always decent until you get more characters. You have two stick unknowns when you could be getting along with just the tentacle. Is your cortana olden or normal? I'd highly recommend starting to gather Celeste summons and her axes + claws, those will serve you a lot better than your two shadowverse unknowns and the SR katana.

Yeah I took the sword because of my dark layout, even though I haven't had much luck with Celeste drops. Black knight is really great, having delay, burn, healing nuke and petrify. Vaseraga is pretty good too, but I have seen people shit talking him. Maybe Zenith's will make his overdrive play even better.

The cortana is normal, sadly. I have celeste on 2 stars already, but since I don't have any other weapons than the spears, I am not using her yet. I should lvl up her for stats at least though.
And what comes to the ex sticks, I don't really have any other weapons yet, but of course I will replace the ex ones as soon as possible. Though the tentacle sword is great for the charge attack damage boost.

I'd advise you to start using your renown from omega raids for axes and claws, to start running celeste more, and to save up your SR weapons and use them to skill up that EX sword and spear of yours. The only weapons from magnas you want to save are Tiamat Bolts, Colossus Staves, Leviathan Daggers, Yggdrasil swords, Luminiera Guns + swords, and all of celeste's weapons excluding the harp. Use those unimportant SSR weapons as fodder after using two SR weapons to skill them up to level 2 and use them to skill up your Baha sword and dagger. Also, take note that you have tezcat; if you start building up an earth team, you'll be at an advantage because thats the best earth elemental summon in the game.

for what it's worth, the grind never ends. You need silver bars for champ weapons. moonlight stones for rabbits and buncles. You can buy the SR weapons and fury stones for fodder. Buy the SSR weapons to reduce. Having excess chips makes the game easier

Tezcat only works when you have a race mixer party, so keep using Vohu until you can accomplish that.

Just beat leviathan in the storymode, been dicking about with a bunch of quests and challenges. Started leveling wizard to work my way up to priest because I need a healer for the super hard loot raids to survive past stage 1/3.

What do you guys think of Brave Exvius aside from it having a super gay name?

It's an ok game if you want some old rpg styled game, the rarest units are 0.5% summons from the gatcha and I've seen people dump up to 600$ to get one. You can play as F2P and get most of the decent low star core units (Cecil, Exdeath, Cloud of Darkness, Firion are all 3* base) that will allow you to clear most content. There's a pvp section that's dominated by whales thou, with 95% dodge chance Noctis and other disgusting shit.

Do you mean bahamut or revenant? You don't have to go dagger. Baha sword is better than dagger if you have draph. Rev sword is fine, plus with the characters attached to them you can really go for whichever one you want if you want the character

I've been playing for a few days now, but I still don't have any idea about what direction to follow, all I see is a whole lot of shit to farm and I can't wrap my head around it.
On the bright side, I'm up to 7k crystals, trying to save 9k for legfest.

Post your characters.

do you have ssrs? can you join magnas? angel halo is half price so farming it now can be a good deal

focus on the story for now. You get free characters from it so it's the best starting point. Do side quests whenever you can for crystals.

Raid whenever your ep is at 3 or higher. Just jump into any raid, it doesn't matter that much. Your first goal should be getting into omega raids as they drop good weapons to start your grid.

Don't worry too much about Rev weapons or Bahamut for now. Those grind will require you to be a bit higher in level, but try to get as many rev weapons from the GW gacha. It's at least a strong weapon un-upgraded.

Once you feel you're strong enough, focus on the rotating showdowns. It's cocytus at the moment. They can drop some weapons to get you started, but the summon is your main goal there. It's a good starter summon for an element and can give a lot of stats to your grid.

Also, do some poker in the casino and buy the anat summon.

I can only do normal raids up to Adversa, but struggle with hard mode raids, been doing the solo floating eye for honor and ticktes for the light knife.

That's all I'm doing, with little breaks for mats to uncap characters and a few angels here and there.
Still, don't know if it's worth wasting time and mats on rares

It is not worth spending mats on R weapons. You'll eventually get many SR weapons from raids you leech, so keep leeching hard and make sure to only focus on weapons that raise atk in their skill.

Quickly go to unite and fight banner , pick the dagger then go to gbf-raidfinder.aikats.us/ add belladonna lvl 100 to the raid list and start joinin those raids,you better start leeching those quickly before gw ends (less than 4 hours), you dont kill them just do any skill or use the support summon and you will get tokens, this tokens will help you get some characters and a great MH that will help for the times where you will need to play Light Dark Fencer

Yeah. Having 4-5 draws during those 10 turns is almost more annoying than losing, since you won't earn much regardless unless your initial hand was good.

I can solo MVP her with a bodgy light MC ninja/lyria/katalina/Vira setup (light so that the shuriken hits with the seal) so I've been doing that and just running out my EP on friend raids but I'm not sure if there is something more I should be doing.

I'm also not 100% sure if me putting katalina in the back row over lady grey (to proc Vira's passive) was the right decision, it feels right but I'd like to know if I you guys so.

The cortana drop was quite lucky I'll admit (since I happened to wander into a friend raid before I knew what it was because I was sick of grinding against celeste) but I've put every bit of EP from the casino into Celeste and gotten fuck all except for the horn which I got yesterday from a self host. I finally worked out a strat that worked for me soloing celeste down to 50% so I'm hoping the drop rates in red chests is better. The Axe is from pendants because I bought it before I understood emnity (this fucking game has so many fucking mechanics that it doesn't explain it at all, and the wiki is dogshit, I ended up adding a tl;dr read to it because the fucking explanation of weapon skill ups was written by a sperglord that doesn't understand the difference between useful information and information that should be kept in a discussion page justifying the information. Took me fucking ages to work out what it was trying to convey regarding bahamut weapon level ups.)

I suspect the reason I have more dark SSR than you is I had the luxury of choosing my element during the period that they gave out 7 free ten rolls, 4 of them on gala, so I was able to go with the element that I got the most in during that period whereas you probably got a bunch of off element shit. (I also bought my start dash and used it on vampy, since someone I know was quit insistent that she was core).

That all being said, you want to not help me for that bullshit its fine I guess, apparently my blind stumbling has stood me well apart from some wasted SSR on my bahamut weapon. I started with a group of people and we are all of the same rough power and SSR amount of our respective elements so if you want to blame anyone blame the creators for handing out so much free shit all at once.

In the interest of being able to grind better, what's the best way for me to put together a Designated Tia-Bully Party so that I can uncap my bolts?
Specifically, I've been told I should get my hands on the SR Colo axe, but what level should I upgrade the SRs to if I don't want to dip too deep into my fodder stockpile? Or should I just say fuck it and level the SRs to 10 because it's easier than SSRs? Is levelling the skills on character weapons worth it since they're so difficult to uncap? I think the character choice is self-evident, but is there something else that would work better? Summons shouldn't really be an issue, the wind buncle is mlb'd so I can get 100% def on her Tempest. I'd like to be able to bully tia without having to waste berries leeching colo first, especially since I don't have rabbit/kaguya.

Sen on front row too like the other user suggested, then darkfencer + arrow rain and use the delay dark fencer grants together with percy to stall tiamat for long enough, for Sen to charge up and then break the boss.

From your character pool, I'd go with SR Mary, SSR Percy, & Yuel in the front row, and Clarisse (or Sen) & Miria in the backup rows. 3 star them if you cant full uncap yet.

You have a pretty good fire setup that could carry your ass through mid-game but i suppose you have an even stronger wind setup if you are motivated enough to grind fire just to get wind.

Unless you are filthy luckshitter you are going to have to start your grid with SR's(all colo SR's have atk+ so are good filler) then replace them for manga SSR's in this case Colossus Canes.

This really depends how long it takes for you to get your SSR's but usually people just leave filler SR's at sl 2-3.

It's complicated, for now focus on magna skill up.

You should be using Percival, Yuel and Sen on your frontline and Dante+Clarisse on the back row or Miria if you want memes.

Tiamat Omega is pretty much a damage check, if you don't break her before she OD ougi's you are probably going to wipe so that's why Perci's fear can allow you to kill her with ease if it lands.

Not really high level, but while the story and coop crystals do eventually dry out they still haven't though, most of my crystals come from hand outs and events anyways. 9k a week won't last forever though, more like 9k a month.

My memory is probably a little off but when Arcanum was happening and they cut the event short they gave everyone a 10-draw ticket and magfest for their troubles. The other one was either something I hoarded beforehand or it was a Christmas gift with everything else.

You can clear all content as f2p if you work hard enough on your grids.

Hell no, after you get all your "first time" crystals from quests and bosses you get around 6k a month, we get more than that if there is a big event going on like anniversary, christmas, player milestones, etc.

Also If you are lucky you can get more crystals from GW betting every other month.

Mostly depends on what your team is, you can never go wrong with using Dark Fencer due to its debuffs, dark teams for example often use bishop(and later SS after getting GW harp) to cover their lack of heals

When Yoda ougi's he will also apply 333,333 damage per shroud that he has left, so 3 shrouds = 999,999 plain damage that can't be blocked. In co-op it's pretty rude to use his 3 shroud ougi and in pubs a great way to get kicked because nips hate yoda

There was a fire trial character not to long ago. She prefers swords, She had the same mechanic as dark Zeta and the Xeno axe so when an enemy is burning she gets a 20-30% echo. I believe she got a nuke that burns but i forgot the rest of her skills. She seemed a bit generic and just another selfish attacker. She might have Strength/Stamina on one of her skills but like i said, i forgot.

Maybe the upgrade class for gunslinger will be Skyracer, an you'll have to farm to buy parts to a racer to use class skills.
