I'm with the other user, I miss Rayman. Origins and Legends are great for all of 10 minutes before you realize both those games are chucklefuckeasy with no creativity put into them. I mean, sure, they're colourful and all, but they're not fun in my opinion. Well, I don't think that's fair to say either. My friend finished Origins like 3 times and I couldn't even get out of the first area, I was so bored out of my skull. There's no sense of adventure or exploration with this world. It's just, I 'ono, like you're being lead along a a factory belt to the finish, and I could not give less of a fuck.

It'd be cool if they brought him back in time for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics to match up with Akira. It's not like they even bothered to make a video game adaptation of it.

I guess I sort of understand what you mean, original rayman levels felt a bit more like a connected and coherent world than other plaformers, but that's kind of an intangible thing since it was most definitely level based. Origins is just more classical about it, with level gimmicks and all. It's also definitely not the same game, so a fan of the original has no reason to be obligated to like the new ones.
That said, "fucking ubisoft" strikes me as a bit out of left field. When someone says that it's always about ubi montreal, the big canadian studio that's responsible for the big things like asscreed. Rayman, both Origins and original, are by ubi Montpellier, france, and led by the OG Michel Ancel. Whatever beef you have against new rayman, it wasn't brought up by some unrelated studio like, say, Dead Rising 4.

I don't think I've seen a charater that's more "real" than Tommy Angelo. He acted like a real person would throughout the entire game and generally felt extremely likeable.
