I don't understand this way of thinking. Which sane slave owner would want to exterminate all their slaves? It's comfy for capitalists to have milions of people which would do anything they want for them for a price.

Of course they're not going to exterminate the slaves until they can automate their jobs. But once the means of production can be transferred into the hands of the elite the serfs have become a nuisance.

It would only happen once all labor had been automated (basically it's the "bad end" version of FALC). The point is that nobody left would be needed. If we were allowed to live, we'd probably be left to our own devices outside their society or abducted for use as guinea pigs or entertainment.

Exterminism is more likely the more religious fundamentalists are in power.
