For Honor

I got this game gifted to me today. Besides the jewbisoft microtransactions this actually felt better than I expected with what I would describe as improved dark souls combat. Anyone else actually play this game and if so what do you think of it's combat system?

I hope that nobody is dumb enough to reply to this fag, this is obviously a raid thread looking to trigger shillmongers

Spamming this shit? I can take fag porn, but this is just fucking disgusting :^)

It's alright. Could be better.
Ubisoft ruined good concept once again.

Nigger, you just did.
I want to discuss a game I was given. You don't even have to like the game, just talk about it. Half the fucking threads on Holla Forums these days have faggots saging or purposely trying to kill them.

What is with this self hating weeabooism? Samurai were low tier.

We know that's how you shills try and generate hype for games. It's disgusting.

Anyway, didn't this game already lost more than half of it's playerbase?

How do you generate hype for a game by shitting on it?

mass effect andromeda

It's quite nice. I just don't like how console friendly it is, just like Dark Souls. Autoaiming, combo making, multiplayer focus, those are trash.

No one on Holla Forums is hyped for that.

Oh wait, Holla Forums is hyped in order to destroy and ridicule it.

From someone who actually played it.

It's really fun the first 10 or so hours with it, and the campaign is an alright way to kill a few hours, but once you get to the intermediate and higher level multiplayer games, you start to see the cracks in the general mechanics and how some of the characters work.

The way the throws work is garbage for example, being able to interrupt out of them is incredibly unreliable, and some characters can easy chain throws with push type moves and such and kill you from 100% without much effort or many safe ways out of it.

Also when people complain about the server connection, they aren't exaggerating. You will disconnect from at least a third of your matches, and the game goes to absolute shit for several seconds if anyone leaves at all, and a person leaving can sometimes cause a chain of disconnects to happen since I guess the servers don't know how to handle such a common occurrence.

If I was to say one good thing about the game without any negatives to add, or "but"s to end it with, is the game looks really good. The armor on characters is highly detailed and for the most part looks cool, the weather effects are great, it also runs on a toaster too despite how good it looks.

If you really did get gifted the game, I'd say play the campaign to get yourself some practice in and experience some cooler levels (Viking level 4 is probably the best one), then play multiplayer until you get to the point where every other person is playing a Peacekeeper, then quit.

Watch Mege's tutorial on how to tech.

it was ok, not worth full price.
initially it seems to be quite good, but it has so many faults both in and outside of the game it becomes a frustration just to get into and play a game.
I'd say wait for about a year and wait for the improvements before trying it out.

Lawbringer is literaly the second most UP class.

its shit, ubisoft needs to be gassed.

The game realy suffers from everything around hte core gameplay. The servers are dodgy, the peer to peer conneciton doesnt work, the stupid microtransactions, the fact that it crashes.

but the core gameplay is realy fairly good, its a fighting game from a different perspective.
And as a fighting game its fairly enjoyable. Still its one of those things where i want that core gaemplay mechanic implemented into a real video game.

The massive dumbfuckery that is the netcode and why Jewbisoft chose peer to peer aside, the game is somewhat average, but by god, the grinding is retarded and the abuse of cheesing shit out is fucking stupid, "throw spam to cliff!" and "run away and throw spam to cliff!"

Your friend doesn't like you, user.

Seems to happen to a lot of shills.

We have a Stillborne, Titanfall, Overwatch and Mass effect thread and this is the thread that triggers you board guardians?

I hate the factions they chose. Having it be crusades focused with Arabs vs Crusaders would have been a lot more fun. Especially with all the crazy middle eastern weapons.

Nice disingenuous, niglet. Your English sounds pretty good btw.

Reddit pls.

Except Reddit is the ones who jerk each other off about how amazing Dark souls is despite having such simple combat.

Redditors are the ones who think that every single melee focused game is "dark souls like"

You would have a point if it wasn't clear that the devs wanted to get DS combat and change it up a bit.

Wow who saw this one coming?

Isn't that natural for any AAA game? Most casual players who buy AAA games quite after a few hours.
