Underneath the shroud of awful Bethesda story-writing and pacing, that small number of characters who were given more than ten minutes of writing time and development stand out as not awful. Not stellar. But even the worst aren't insufferable - a stark contrast to the average Bioware character from the same year and onwards.

In particular, Ulfric is a good guy who deserved a lot better than a couple minutes of screentime in a game where he was allegedly one of the most important players on the field. Stormcloaks did nothing wrong.

When Bethesda actually puts a little more than zero effort into their writing it can come out okay. Not great, but not terrible either. At least as far as characters are concerned. The civil war in Skyrim is actually a really compelling political conflict between two factions who have good points to argue with no clear right answer to be had.

Uncommon time is a game where every character is a disgusting snowflake. A tranny an edgy cunt and some some other tumblerette are lead by a girl named alto who's a vindictive spiteful bitch whos parents forced her to prepare all her life for some big world event. Teagan her best friend struggled to learn an instrument for her, broke into her family's home just to keep her company and was the only good thing in Altos life. Then when they go on this adventure Alto being a naive dumb cunt routinely ignored Teagan whenever she said don't pick up that trash they're fucking useless. Turns out they're fucking useless. So after being right every time they still ignore her and they all fail. That's when Teagan tells them all to fuck themselves for being retards and putting the world in danger and alto decides to blow up the world because Mommy and Daddy we're mean. Teagan is then villified spit on and beaten up for being the mean realistic non snowflake all Game. She is even despised by the developer as a vessel for everyone who told her to act like an adult all her life. If I had any wish it would to protect Teagans smile.

It's not a metaphor. There is in fact sex, and the other characters do in fact partake in it. Teagan does not. This is supposed to be "asexuality" or whatever, because Tumblrinas literally think that a person not wanting to have sex with random people is the same as not wanting any kind of relationship at all.

It's really uncanny. These people have a definition for evil, and they use it to design the villains of their stories. But their reality is so warped that when they try their absolute hardest to create horrible villains, the result is creating realistic people that can be related to. How do these people become so warped? What makes them the way they are?

These are actually things that happen. The most negative thing Teagan does in-game is drink enough to get somewhat inebriated, and not even especially drunk. Everyone else is super invested in their sex lives when there is literal world saving to do, and Teagan just doesn't give a shit. After it came to light that Holla Forums liked her, the author retroactively claimed she was asexual. Considering that sexual orientation is so fucking important to her, and explored with the other characters, if Teag being asexual was her original intention, you can bet your ass it would have been mentioned previously in the endless rambling she did. It almost seems as though it was a move done entirely to try and spite us. Nobody cared.

I'm beginning to think that, much like how many modern villains are well-intentioned extremists, that is, people with logical beliefs that they've just taken just a bit too far (Armstrong, Pixy), Teagan may be exactly this, but written by an SJW. When written from the perspective of an SJW, the leap of logic that usually pushes characters like that from being 100% relatable to Sympathetic Asshole Villain material could potentially instead result in a leap from inclusive, feeling-first retard, to a rational, goal-oriented pragmatist.

In-game, it appears there's a lot of trouble with the Eastern side of the map, including the lack of basic navmeshing and the like. The best idea to avoid issues and start fresh would be to make a new worldspace that represents Legion territory still (relatively) close to the Hoover Dam, with some kind of teleportation or transport to move between the two areas.

Apparently, tradition is that the special person required to save the world picks their own band members or something. A full band is required to play the entire song. The protag picked incompetent members because the dev thinks that picking people based on their special snowflake status over how well they can play is the right thing to do. Teagan points out how retarded that decision is and is supposed to be a terrible person for doing so.

The music sheets aren't unique, they're just what Alto inherited to perform the World Tuning with; a new set of sheets are made later in the game after you miss the good end.
If anything, her destroying them is her punctuating her rant by showing her utter contempt for Alto & Co. and her complete lack of faith in them being able to save the world/country/whatever even with the entirety of Alto's parents' legacy.

The World Tuning also isn't really a one-time deal, but the more you fuck it up the harder it gets to finish; but that doesnt matter because the entire central conflict is nonsensical bullshit based around an issue that was already solved, has other people capable of solving it forever at no detriment to themselves, and only exists for a bullshit reason to begin with.

This is just what happens when a game is filled with terribly written characters. People latch on to the nearest mediocre character instead. That doesn't mean said character is well written character but just the least shittiest one.

I only played part of Last Scenario. I think it was just too generic and I lost interest. I don't remember, maybe it was okay. Exit Fate is supposedly really similar to Suikoden. I never played Suikoden but I think it even rips off a lot of the story. I remember it being good. I hate the portraits in both games, everyone just looks weird.
