Available in singleplayer, multiplayer, co-op and versus, this game will allow you to bring laser death and cook enemies in their cockpits.

This contains the main game, a guide, a few PDFs, a dice based random number generator for when you want to homebrew your own rolls, two unit-builders in the form of MekLabs and Solaris Solar-Werks.

This contains the latest stable build, custom camo files, a ridiculous number of portraits for your staff, some custom non-canon mechs and units by the MegaMek community, et cetera.
I've also included some quick-start files to speed up the game's setup.

Note that it does refer to some of the files in the pack, but those aren't necessary.

What the guide teaches you:
How to set your game up for minimum headache and maximum ease while opening every option to the player.
How to set the game up to generate contracts and op4 to fight.
How to setup a multiplayer game.

Watch ThomasMarik's YouTube playlist, he's been playing the same campaign for what seems like years.

Someone is already trying to, go and look at the MegaMek forums.
Unfortunately the AI doesn't like Rocket Launchers and stalls, so you'll need a player to play anything with rocket launchers.

Possibly higher than Aurora, but I doubt it.
It's meant for tabletop and PnP roleplay, with a little more complexity added back in because MegaMek can automate it.

Not by any stretch. Aurora is a neverending autistic nightmare, this is relatively easy to handle once you understand a few things, but nobody will tell you those few things.

I'd argue that Thanatos A is probably the best mech in heavy-category.

Good burst damage and range but not the best brawler, at least the few times that I used it. You lose your H-Gauss arm then thats pretty much it, but its a beast no doubt.

Sadly LAMs aren't properly implemented, as there aren't concrete rules in the current ruleset for transforming Mechs.

You only need the MekHQ installer, as it contains the files for everything else too, though you might want to import the Data and MMConf files over from the starter pack in the OP.
