Can anyone recommend PC games for a Newfag?

Got my first Pc capable of playing games yesterday with a decent graphics card and I have a $200 steam card. I'm really odd about games, only one I really love (had it on PS 4, bought it yesterday for PC and love it) is Witcher 3. Any recommendations on open world games that might be good? Preferably nothing with niggers, fags, etc…?

Are any of the civilization or "crusader kings" games worth it? Have been looking into a few military games, mostly from Eastern European developers since they seem the least cucked.

This is list of some advice a friend gave me of potential games to look at. Thoughts?:

Gothic 1, 2, Risen 1.

Dragon's Dogma

In FF15 you cook some monsters that you kill.
Same goes for Dragon's Crown.
You can hunt in Red Dead Redemption, but you mostly sell those. Same as Far Cry 3.

-horizon zero dawn

-Arma 2

-Arma 3

-ghost recon

Just gonna list games that I enjoyed on the PC

Batman Arkham City
Euro Truck Simulator 2
EYE Divine Cybermancy
STALKER
Terraria
X3 Albion Prelude
Tropico 3
Victoria 2
Endless Legend

For Civ games, pretty much everyone agrees that nothing will ever surpass Alpha Centauri.
Endless Legend is pretty nice though.

Crusador Kings and similar GS games aren't turn-based like Civ. There's a reason they're called map-painting simulators, because they're not too friendly for beginners.

Civ games are pretty ok. You'll know you like the genre when you start telling yourself "just one more turn".

Gothic is pretty good.

Dragon's Dogma has fun combat mechanics, although same enemies spawn pretty much in the same area. Everyone should at least pirate it first to see if they like it or not.

Lurk more faggot.

This user is mostly right, but I literally spilt pepsi all over myself when I read FF15 and HZD in there.

Some anons enjoy MGSV;TPP's open-world aspect. I've found it's either love it or hate it, to the extreme.

All 3 Just Cause games have huge maps that are fun to muck about in. 1 is the weakest due to lots of driving around, 2 is the best in every aspect and 3 is a clusterfuck, but is a lot better with all the DLCs and Denuvo removed. Pirate 3, buy the other 2 if you must have them through Steam.

Grand Theft Auto, especially 5 is extremely open-world. 5 has hundreds of little things to do on the side, but it feels cluttered to me. I've never really enjoyed GTA, so I'm not the best judge.

Saints Row is fun, at least for the first 3 titles. 4th gets a bit too stupid and they make it easy as all get out, so much less enjoyable to actually accomplish something.

Modded Bethesda games are usually fun enough, but not really much substance to them. Skyrim is for sex mods, but if you haven't played many open-worlds, it's moderately decent, like a 6/10. It will make every other open-world look better afterwards. FO4 is irredeemable. Not even the overhaul mods make it worthwhile.
I wouldn't recommend paying for them, however. At all. Anything on Steam's workshop can be downloaded without owning the game, so mods aren't an issue.

Batman Arkham series is fun. People shit over Knight, but it does add some kind of neat enemies to the fights, but the story is fanfiction-tier. The DLCs are good, but short.

Just go to Wikipedia and check a list of open-world games, really.

If you absolutely must play a new open-world game, wait a month or so for CEMU to emulate Zelda BotW at 60FPS in 4K. It's much better than the other open-worlds that have been released in the past few years, but not GOAT, which it will likely win due to fanboys.

Dark Souls games are kinda open, though there is a "proper" path and you will get your shit kicked in if you try and sequence break before you're ready.
Of the games your friend mentioned, only Dragon's Dogma is currently available on PC, but get that. It's good. And Steam will actually let you refund shit if you don't like it, unlike consoles.
For Civ games, I enjoyed Galactic Civilisations 2 but it's dated now. Not sure how the third one is. Thea the Awakening is like a mix between Civ and rogue-like with a setting based on Slavic mythology, like most of The Witcher, so it should feel suitably comfy and depressing for you too.
There's also Dark Messiah of Might and Magic which isn't an open world game but it is fucking fun. Check that out, though it hardly ever goes on sale.
Far Cry 3 and 4 are also good, though fairly interchangable. Primal is there if you want cave man style shenanigans.
Just Cause 2 should be on your list as well, but don't worry about 3 because it's worse in just about every way.
nuTomb Raider might satisfy, but it also might not. It depends on your tolerance for shit and nostalgia for old school Lara back when she was actually fun.
Elite Dangerous if you want open space, though it becomes a pointless grind before long. Good if you've got a HOTAS setup or a VR headset though I've heard.

Teaching Feeling
Dwarf Fortress (actual porn dont bother playing if not into eroge)

Contains fags, but they're pretty low key.
The last generally accepted Bethesda RPG here.
Worse than Morrowind, but its worst faults can be fixed with mods, unlike Skyrim. Also has 2 really great expansions.

I personally like Crusader Kings, but you might want to snatch it off a bundle or just pirate it. You need to be a bit autistic to enjoy grand strategy.

...

witcher 2: assassins of kings. it is not open world but it feels like open world vast areas by chapters. its core story and dialogs is better than the third. or if you you endure combat you must play witcher 1. excellent rpg.

Do you have an internet connection and a functioning brain? Steam users often lack one of those two. If you have not done so already; obtain the first two Witchers. You'll enjoy 2 if you loved 3. The first may confuse your underdeveloped mind.

Dragons Dogma is solid. Worth the time.

Stalker is a classic for very good reasons. Take it's flaws in stride and go in with zero expectations.

Best advice.

Do not listen to this user unless you place zero value in your sanity. They even forgot to mention Saya No Uta and Sengoku Rance.

New Vegas is a classic, as is Morrowind, but Oblivion is, comparatively, trash.
Another classic is Deus Ex. If your anus has prolapsed recently, like many users of steam, then you could ignore it and play Deus Ex Human Revolution.

The games mentioned here are all shining examples of the medium and you should download them all immediately. Another thing to try is that new web searching tool that i heard the NSA is working on. You'll probably need to download TOR and be a master hacker to find it though, so good luck.

You can skip everything except daedric quests. Do them + shivering isles.

Couldn't have put it better. What a shame. Jeremy Soule's soundtrack deserved better.

not him but
daedric quests in skyrim also nice, dragonborn dlc and Hermeous Mora etc.

Skyrim had atmosphere. Something Oblivion could not into effectively. Skyrim also has other good aspects but they do not compensate for it's numerous faults, however; nothing Bethesda has ever released can compare to how incredibly awful Fallout 4 was. A true feat of incompetence and delusion.

op also check out humble bundle its easy way to load up your library

exactly user.

Never bothered to replay Skyrim due to the bad taste the first playthrough left. Is Dragonborn really that good?

Same.

trust me. the best moments in the game is dragonborn and dawnguard dlc quest series. everything else is mediocre.

If you want that stay with the console, the crown jewel of PC is the strategy genre.

DOOM & DOOMclones
You will weep because we will never return to such a grandiose era.

Also, dolphin emulation is better than stock gamecube hardware. So if you haven't played alot of gamecube, theres a few hundred hours of free game.

Rapelay
Lurkmore
All of the above

There are enough mods now to hide the "Bethesda" feeling, although, you must be able roleplay on another level; making the most of less, in a way.

I just realized OP actually asked for open world game recommendations. Must be Young. The aspects of what makes the third installment of the wither series excellent is very much removed from it's open world. I would imagine CDPR having a better time of not making TW3 open world and focusing on what made 1 and 2 so great. An open world is not something you should use to measure a games worth. It is an illusion conjured by advertising companies that are often paid more than the game developers. OP, you have reminded me of how far video games have been bastardized by the same greed that has gentrified and eroded other creative mediums. It may be too late.

Typing of CDPR, I'm pretty worried about all the positions they are looking to fill, along with the rumors of overworking their developers for TW3 - and that they have also become less transparent since it's release. They may have been spooked by their marketing misstep with the downgrade fiasco, something that would have been avoided if they had been less eager to show what they had. Food for another thread.

Fuck, excuse my big word babble holy shit sorry.

This isn't a board for casual players with shit taste, just go back to wherever you came from and leave us alone please.

Mark allows the Overwatch general to exist and hasn't permabanned all people that post in it.

Rules/laws don't make something moral, given the fact that absolutely everyone hates them this isn't a board for Overwatch either and if Mark actually wanted to make this place better he'd ban them too.

Good thing Mark is a flip flopping imbecile that will change his opinion on things at the drop of a hat then.

Well there's no accounting for taste, I suppose.
STALKER, start with SoC.

Retard spotted

On the off chance that you're not a baitnigger just go fucking hog wild; try as much (varied) shit as you can and you're bound to find something that'll work for you.

Well shiet, that makes niggers and fags rather mandatory.

thanks, I'm saving all these names. I fucking have no clue how to play vidya with a mouse and keyboard. Was reading about Arma 3, would have to learn, no idea how hard it would be if never done before. the idea of controlling a character with a mouse just seems tough bc never done it.

About halfway into witcher 3. Can't believe how much shit they edited out of the PS 4 version.

Warcraft 3

Medieval 2 Total War
Heroes of Might and Magic 3

Edgy. Enjoying your snow day? Could your mom find a big enough snowsuit of your fa tass, or did she just sew a quilt around your obese ass?

Long as I've been here, never really could get into anime, but now I've a fucking thing for watching Triss and jennifer sex scenes. Someone gave me list of best waifu games but never saved.

Yennifer. Fucking spell-check. I'm assuming most good shit now has to come from Eastern-euro studios, since the studios in the west seem pretty much entirely jewed. Even witcher is sort of too much feminism and the one queer he encounters, but it's made up for by lack of niggers of at least.

should have explained better– I've been coming between here and Holla Forums since Moot cucked out on GG and half-chan turned to shit nd hot wheels got it going. I just never paid a fucking bit of attention to PC games since I figured if I ever put the shekels in, I'd never leave the fucking computer. Finally had enough shekels in bank, and figured since these days if I'm not working I'm in front of PC ( and movies/Tv shows on electronic synagogue have become so bad with pushing filth I literally can't watch it), decided to finally just get the fucking PC I avoided for fear of becoming a total vidya degenerate. Now I no longer care, so am looking to just jump in.

Yeah, I can "look uo games" on jiggle, but obviously I don't trust the gaming press and most discussions here these days seems to be console related since the Jews now have literally everything in a console version to make more shekels. Now that I have a decent machine with a Titan pascal, want to see what it can do.

honestly the only good PC games are from the 90s to maybe the mid 00's There's been a handful of games since 2007 to now that are worth playing, mostly first person shooters. You are going to be playing a lot of console ports when it comes to post 2007 releases.

Have to get set up with pirating. In tech terms I know it's not hard, the few movies/series I want to watch I torrent and then straight to electronic synagogue through a rigged version of plex. Just never put the energy into researching it and getting it set up.

Just from witcher 3 and the scene with the dead hookers, has me wondering how much shit the Jews edit out for consoles and what the standards are. Now that I have a good monitor, intel chip and titan card, it's a fucking world of difference but I wonder what they've been editing out in other games to get it approved for consoles. Actually, what set my mind to getting a PC was the nigger lead character in Battlefield 1 in fucking WW 1– the "Great European War."

That, breaking up with GF, finding nothing on electronic synagogue but for old reruns of "Rome.." figured I needed a new source of entertainment.

...

those games are on both console and PC. I think if you really want to get an unpozzed experience you'd be going back to the 6th and earlier generation. And if you have a lot of money you'd be spending on enthusiast level hardware like professional monitors and FPGAs

It's not open world but the map layouts are really open and muh graphics
Huge, open-ended maps and lots of autism
Mandatory Holla Forums core, stupidly cheap during sales
First game is a linear brawler, second improves it and goes open world.

Morrowind is the best game in the TES series. It is in theory the easiest to mod, but in practice, because of its age, it has the smallest modding community and the least amount really coming out. If the game is a game of "8.5" quality it can be boosted up to "9.0" with mods.

Oblivion on the other hand is the absolute worst. I would go so far as to say it is less fun than Arena and Battlespire, which at least have the dungeon crawler aspects going for them and some diversity to the enemies you encounter. Oblivion somehow manages to be a game about going to the titular location and somehow having less varieties of Daedra than Morrowind did. It also takes the biggest shits on the lore. That said, it has the horniest and most autistic modding fanbase of any Bethesda game, as it was the flavor of the year when that shit really started getting kicked off, and people are still working on shit in it. If the game is a "3.5" quality game, it has enough mod utility to be boosted up to a "7.5" with ease - maybe even an "8.0" if your particular vision can be met.

Skyrim has a lot less utility in its modding than Oblivion, especially since it's not much of an RPG to begin with. On the other hand, it's also a better game in terms of the actual gameplay in most other respects, and does have a few of its own unique newblood modders. It's probably a "5.0" quality to start off with, but it can be boosted up to a "8.0". Again, with the right vision in mind, you might leak an "8.5".

When you consider that you could get the same quality out of a better game like Morrowind or Dragon's Dogma for about thirty hours less effort browsing through mods, you come to understand the futility of the whole affair. Just play a good game, senpai.

Dom't be too hasty on judging. Maybe said girlfriend was a nice Japanese trap.

Also Saya no Uta and other h-games.
These things are weird. You get into them for porn but stay for a story.
I wish AAA games had as good characters as MGQ.

...

Here's an idea: How about playing the games you can't play on consoles like GSGs and shooters?

do you have any more pictures of hairy, muscular, virile men you saved to your hdd exclusively for the purpose of showing how much you hate gays?

please post more, my sausage is heating

...

searching about that game, it's classified as horror and written by the same guy who wrote meguca meduka, psycho pass and fate zero.
are you trying to trick me user?

hmm, nice to see you also have good taste for the equipment. anything bigger in there?

Are you this guy?

Fuck off.

Shit, it happens every time i try to post on this fucking internet!

Saya no Uta is a love story about a well adjusted young man and his loli, trust me.

nice try but i already fell for that with meguca. i will be prepared for suffering.

Download Deus Ex, System Shock, Thief and Max Payne.

If you want some role-playing get Daggerfall and you're set for a year.

Thanks for help. I got a Vive VR about a month ago, 800 shekels. Just set up the Base stations the other day, screwed into the walls, but no idea how it can work walking around without falling flat on my fucking ass. I got a few VR games that came with it for free, but right now my fav part of VR (only spent about 3 hours with it) is google earth in VR and the VR tours of cities like Florence and Paris.

I work like a nigger on a plantation, like 16 hour days. I honestly wish I knew someone from here in my area to come over and help me and play my shit with me and help get it going. In early 30s, an autist and working for a big Jew law firm. Not exactly many conversations that revolve around VR or gaming. I wish I'd had the aptitude to go into programming, just never did, very high verbal IQ but shit at maths. I'm sure even my firm would love to fire me, but I have an autistic talent of taking in shitloads of info and being able to turn out a good brief in short time. I know, blog post, no one cares

Right now, I feel like I have so many options and no idea where to even begin, esp since I'm really weird about games and either love or hate. Like witcher bc of the girls, the fantasy setting in basically medieval Europe, and (other than feminism) no real Pc bullshit. Not going to start pirating until I have some time off to work it out, i fucking despise even having to use Windows for gaming.

Thanks for the recommendations. going to try..IDK, fucking S.T.A.L.K.E.R. seems too depressing and has been feeling like blowing my brains out. Need to get time to watch some of the gameplay on Jewtube. thanks for suggestions.

Last question (yes, I know, I can jewggle it but at least people here tend to share my politics and worldview and so give good recommendations). Any ideas for an open-world game with Waifus, not too fucking depressing, and that I can use a fucking console controller for until I can get time to learn how to actually play a PC game with keyboard/mouse the way it's meant to be played? I was home today because trains weren't running into Jew York, would have been a good day to work on all this but just had too much shit to do and always afraid of losing job since 'm totally autistic and shit at social interactions.

Can one of you all just pick something for me? Waifus, open world, not too dark and takes place in a White world, and enough to hold interest without just good fights?

Also, anyone if Jew york city area and wants to hang out and just fuck about with VR and play on a good system (Intel i7 12 cores, Titan Pascal Processor, etc SSD, with a 34" ASUS 100hz monitor,) let me know. Totally serious, can set up secure, burner emails. No homo obviously. Just bored, no friends here and no time right now to really teach myself. would be cool to have a friend to help get me into it learn, and you could use the vive VR or whatever. I know, fucking pathetic, but the isolation starting to drive me fucking nuts.

try before you buy
always

I think STEAM gives you..maybe 14 hours to try? And yes, I hate relying on STEAM and paying the Jew for what I should be pirating, just need to get time to get it going. also, having to use windows for gaming rives me fucking nuts since it's the fucking worst OS known to man and I hadn't used it since I was 12 until I got this PC.

Civilization is decent up through IV, which is where the series peaked in my opinion (if you're not counting Alpha Centauri as Civ). V is mediocre, Beyond Earth and VI are fucking garbage.
Total War is a very good series up through Medieval 2. After that it's spotty. Shogun 2 is decent, the rest should be skipped.

Skyrim is worse than Oblivion in every respect other than character models and melee combat. Magic is worse, writing is worse, NPC AI is worse. Morrowind is better than both by far, though.

Dragon's Dogma is what you're looking for.

Do not give money to shitty devs, do not give money to publishers when none of that money may find its way to the devs even if the game itself is good. Chances are you're gonna support a publisher that was directly responsible for killing the studio behind the game. Hell I'd even say don't buy a single game unless you really want to for convenience sake or to support actual good and non degenerate devs.

M8 Witcher 3 is garbage. It's barely a video game, it's just a series of mediocre cutscenes. If you like open world games just pick one, they're basically all identical.

Dragon's Dogma
Bethesda games with mods
That hentai game where you go roaming about some town and make your waifus and even set relationships with said waifus and even have those ero scenes in the middle of the street
Nier Automata when it comes out?
