You play around with the borders of what's socially acceptable for acquaintances while displaying sexual interest (usually nonverbally). Idpol women and idpolers in general don't understand that human interaction is complex and nuanced. They want everything to be regimented so that even the most socially retarded person understands. This doesn't work because if you apply rules to everything, there are too many to keep track of.
