I've been playing through The World Ends With You Holla Forums. Normal mode the entire way through, and…I'm sorry…I'm fucking hating it. I'm right at the last boss, and I just…don't…fucking care anymore. I just hit that room with all the fucking dragon heads, and I just started thinking, "Great, I'm going to have to die 10 times grinding my way through to figure out how this thing dies now." And for what? The predictably love-interest? I just felt completely burnt out and thought, "I don't care if I'm going to have to fight the first two forms all over again. I'm done. And I turned it off.

Why should I care Holla Forums? Why should I keep playing this fucking game? The whole time has felt like a complete grind.

Having some issues trying to figure out what level I'm supposed to be for progression as of now; it seems like the "recommended level" descriptor for the keyword system to generate dungeons isn't always the best indicator. For example, went to a recommended level four area some "player" told me to go to, and the boss he wanted someone to witness a fight against destroyed Kite pretty much instantly, despite most enemies up to that point not being much more than an annoyance (and for whatever reason, Blackrose seems incapable of tossing a revive when someone goes down, unless I'm supposed to manually order her around). Due to the difference in strength, I suspect the idea would be to Data Drain the boss to weaken it, but if I can't get it to the point of being guard broken, I can't drain it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
