DRAIN THAT SWAMP!

vanityfair.com/news/2017/01/donald-trump-pam-bondi

Trump won't even give the last one on that list.

The American people never really had a choice this election.

yeah man everyone i dont like is exactly the same

Oh come on you know it's true.

47 states had a choice, they were too fucking spooked or unaware to do anything with it.

i know that clinton's "loyal cronies" would have been better for the working class and environment

i dont like hillary, but i also dont understand why so many leftists perpetuate this false equivalence. clinton and trump were very different candidates on just about every key issue. just because both are corrupt to some degree does not mean they're the same in every respect.

just kill yourself, obama broke more unions than bush and has his fuck head military in more countries than Reagan.

Trump does the very same things Hilary was going to do, at least looking at her voting record.

If anything, the Trump presidency is way better for the working class.
He's like the cruel slave-owner who exposes the inherent injustice of the system, rather than the kind soft-spoken one that make the slaves love their chains.

vs

just kill yourself. you try so hard to be the edgy and disillusioned guy who sees through it all, but you just look retarded or massively uniformed,

get off our board

Fuck off liberal, I hope Trump crashes America with no survivors.

He's right though

this is the only argument for a trump presidency, but it's also incredibly risky and no worker would support their own demise (you sound like those out of touch liberal elites, treating the working class as your guinea pigs).

Holy shit. This american actually see a diference between Trump and Hillary policies.
Thank you…i had to go through various minutes of laughing before i could write this post. No joke, thank you.

This only delays the inevitable. There must be a discontent with capitalism for revolution. Kill yourself.

let's be real, if you actually cared about the working class or weren't in a position of muh privilege yourself, you would support the candidate who offered the most immediate help.

Bandages on a cancer patient.

yes, the only alternative workers have to trump when he inevitably fails is a full-scale communist revolution.

I don't know, but Hillary and her cronies will be hanged from the same gallows as Trump and his. That seems pretty sweet.

the average american worker will not support a revolution. they're very much believers in the rule of law (part of trump's appeal and the reason they fetishize the military/police). all americans are averse to violence on their own turf.

just stop

Yes.
The liberal elites are arguing for accelerationism, not to continue the system as you would.
I don't know if you're arguing out of bad faith here or if you genuinely didn't think that through before you typed it.

Yeah, sure it's risky. But continuing the system of overseas wars, plundering and increased fracking is CERTAIN to doom us all, it'll only take longer time.

So we have a choice that's risky, and we have one that's certain doom.
I'm sorta glad that we have entered "risky" territory.

GET OUT, GET OUT NOW

He will when Trump fucks him over.
Then we must ruin the law and make order disorder. Trump will do this. He has no respect for the law.

That is what every liberal has said in history just at the cusp of a revolution.
Surely you see that times are getting more violent, that people are demanding more and more change.
And when reformism fails, when the system cannot bring the sort of change the population wants, then what happens?

BTW, this would not be the first time there was armed socialist struggle or mass-strikes within the USA. The New-Deal happened for a reason, and it was not because FDR just thought it was a neat idea.

That doesn't matter. Of course someone would support something that benefits themselves.

...

hahahahahaha oh my god
hahahahah what the fuck am i reading
are you real
how are you so retarded
what poor decisions is your life consequence of

Hillary would have delivered on as many of those as Obama did his promises

i.e. none or one

you realize that is exactly what you are - a guinea pig for the rich?

They're not out of touch, they're one hundred percent correct, you fucking ape

It's essentially the difference between getting rammed hard in the asshole and playing "Just the tip"

Read more you stupid cunt.

...

Hillary would have been punching Obama in the face for not implementing the no-fly zone.

Hillary would have been calling Obama the n-word

If you honestly think Hilldawg was gonna raise the minimum wage, or do literally anything else on your list, you're on crack.

Obamaromised single payer and delivered Romenycare.
Fuck Democrats. At least Republicans are honest about being racist, shiteating murderers. A Democrat will do anything a Republican would do, but they'll pretend to be your friend on top of it.

...

Yes.
Clearly Donald Trump is the worst thing ever and that Democrat is totally correct.

im actually pretty wealthy. not 1% but my family is worth several million including assets.

if she had a democratic congress to work with, why wouldnt she…? presidents generally want to be known as "effective" and secure a second term.

because he couldn't pass single payer. where does this "IF WE DON'T LIVE IN A COMMUNIST PARADISE I'D RATHER LIVE IN ANCAPISTAN" mentality come from?

hmmm. democrats created most welfare programs and are the only reason they haven't been entirely gutted to accommodate a free market agenda. not to mention they uphold liberal social values (right to an abortion, gay marriage, etc.).

never said that, but great strawman. my point is that if you're left wing, it's more logical to support the candidate whose policies would help the working class more. sometimes you have to be pragmatic instead of being some edgy nihilist who doesn't care what happens to their country if a socialist isn't running.

Well, then no Democrat can. Obama had everything. In 2009 Obama had EVERY. FUCKING. THING. the Democrats could hope to have, and they didn't deliver.

Democrats support capitalism in all its rapaciousness. They are an enemy, nothing more or less.

Ah, porky reveals himself

Hahahahaha. Obama had control of congress for two years. He had the entire time to enact a single payer system, but capitulated. Now you expect us to believe that Hillary, who's record is worse in almost every conceivable way than Obama's is going to enact her middle of the road socdem shit? There was no reason to vote for Hillary.

I honestly believe HRC would have at least tried to expand some of the social security nets. If we attack her on being a liar and a phony we do nothing but feed the right wing conspiracy narrative that has been fed ever since her husband became POTUS. If you look at her actual voting record and what she supported in the past she is a pretty tame liberal, that is consistently in favor of expanding social programs.

There's so much more, much more substantial to critize, that there really is no need to jump to alt-right talking points like people here tend to do. All it serves is empowering the right. Maybe it's because I'm not from the US, but to me it is painfully obvious how even here people fall into the common narratives of the two party system.

You should be able to acknowledge that HRC was most likely the more qualified candidate and was more likely to implement measures that improve the lifes of the poor. There's a reason Bernie supported her over Trump after all. This doesn't mean she is not a neoliberal that will fundamentally do nothing but put some more bandaids on a fundamentally flawed system. It doesn't mean that she - just like Trump - isn't part of an elite ruling class that has ruled the US for the majority of its existence.

He could. He had a majority in congress the first two years. But he didn't use that.
He could have used the bully pulpit.
But he didn't.
Why?

He had no intention of passing single payer, and instead we got something that revealed the true nature of the Democrats:

The guardians of the system, republicans with a human face.

In the meanwhile he extrajudicially executed American citizens, started a few more wars, gave giant handouts to big banks, got rid of habeas corpus and expanded fracking rights.

That's what Obama was, and there's no reason to expect Hillary to be better.

Just because you don't care about dronestriking innocents in the middleeast and thus don't care about overthrowing the system that causes that doesn't mean we're bad people for saying that making the travesties of this system more obvious to everyone is an overall good thing that in the long term will say more people.

I just decided to go through her voting record.
That thing is disgraceful tbh.
All I see is stuff that increases the surveillance state and a few corporate hand-outs to energy companies to not turn off power for the poor. Only 2.5 billion dollars which is nothing on a national scale.

I'm not the whole way through but this thing I'm looking at is honestly baaaad

Yeah, exactly, she is by all means still a neoliberal, interventionist and hawkish.

LIHEAP is a social services program that supports low-income homes. The money goes to households, not to the energy companies themselves. I mean, technically it gets fed back into them, but that's capitalism for you. The bill was sponsored by Sanders by the way.

There are a couple more bills like that in her voting record. She did once advocate for "Hillarycare" after all, a plan to provide universal health care to the American people. Most of us here probably weren't old enough back then to remember it, but from what you read about it, I wonder if that was the moment where HRC became a pragmatist and disillusioned with American politics. She got destroyed by the establishment for it.

He's got you there comrades. Cry more little brats, Hillary and Trump were never equivalent. And only cunts on this board on a chan with unironic pedos and Nazis will ever think so

She was a meme candidate

Yet you lost.
