Can you have slave armies as glorious cannon fodder?

You can create armies from enslaved races, and each race has their own stats, but they'll cost as much as any other army. You can definitely fling them at heavily defended planets to soften them up.

You know damn well Frontier lacks the competence to fix the AI, I'd rather we had a way to get the AI working with overseas fights (eg, by letting land units go on water) than AI being unable to effectively wage overseas wars.
