Not really. Pretty close to the high water mark for video games as a whole, actually. PS2 was also great, but Xbox started the decline.

Took a lot of gambles with fresh game ideas.
They were still trying to do business by appealing to your human sense of fun and novelty instead of trying to cynically wirehead skinner box as many people in a focus group as possible.
