Are games nowadays made for 10-13 year old children only?
What do you think?

Yes

Or the average human between the ages of 16-25 have the brain of a 13 year old. So sure.

They have always been.

Incorrect.

No, correct

Made for children? No.
Played by them? Yes.

Or maybe you are talking about those niche computer games that barely anyone except for a handful of nerds knew even existed back then?

There have always been western video games made for children, but for children _only_?
And the question is: Do they build wallhacks into modern FPS for children or for "reviewers".
Because both suck at video games.

Go back.

Fuckoff Mack

There are two answers to this, the first one is Magpies. That's who they make games for. Magpies with money to spend, who constantly jump at the next shinny thing regardless if it's good or not. These were the primary target for a long time and are the primary target for most AAA publishers.

The second are whales, people with more money than sense to spend, who will glady splurge $1000+ easily on a game. They are sort of like Magpies in that they like shinny things but don't tend to migrate to the next big thing. Instead they sit around very happily being milked for all their cash. They are often the target of most F2P games with cashshops, but a few subscription based games and non-F2P games have them; in all instances the games typically have massive cashshops to spend money on in game items.

Where's the webm, faggot?

30 minute webm?

Nowadays? They always have been. You can choose to believe whatever you want you'd only be deluding yourself but video games are primarily children's toys.

The average vidya player is 31
13 year olds don't play GSG
Sorry lad

Video games aren't for responsible adults. There are plenty of adults who play them because they got hooked as kids and never grew out of it just like there are adults who still collect comic books and action figures.
There are exceptions to every rule, it doesn't change the rule.

No OP, videogames these days are being made for people that doesn't play videogames, that's why we have this trend of glowing vision that shows you everything that you can interact with

...

I actually find that pretty helpful.
The set-pieces in modern games with their super-detailed assets make it hard to differentiate between "environment" and "items".
Of course, seeing anything kilometers away through walls is just wrong.

If we learned anything in 2016- it's that pointing out the Emperor has no clothes converts people, and the raging retards left over converts even more people.

Keep at it, and the casual dilettante audience in gaming will drop AAA hard.
Make sure the industry is rebuilt by people who give a damn, recommend older games that are good. Get a renaissance going in game creation.

break it up into parts if you have to, you nigger.

Was the original video monetized or was the hotpocketeer just appeasing the "muh webm" autism?

ecksdee

They are already doing it.
