Hundreds of games

God fucking dammit just tell me what you're playing and why you like it and I'll figure out the rest.

play with yourself. Do this seven times a day. Eventually you'll develop a blood flow issue or die.

Stop shitposting? I mean, I know it sounds like a shitpost in itself and you'll go I-I can stop whenever I want but I'm serious.

Step back.

Do a dozen pushups or so. Alternatively

Start the first game on top of your backlog.

why don't you try something you likely haven't done before
you could play a multiplayer NWN1 server or a custom single-player campaign, you could play an interesting-looking dreamcast game, you could play ToME, kirby airride via netplay via emulator

theres lots of options that arent garbage like most modern AAA games such as AC:U OP

just finished Nayuta, which i recommend, and started Tales of Berseria Free Edition

Transformers Devastation

If what you want is having fun just play Ninja Gaiden Black, it has some great weapons, gore, combos, enemy variety, "open world", collectables and several difficulty settings that change item location and brings completely new enemies

Taste your own semen, do it!

Right now I'm playing R6 Siege. I wouldn't recommend it.

Play arcade or pure gameplay vidya.
You will be thrown into the action before you even notice.

...

I'm playing DOOM. I get to shoot at hot demons and explore cool wads.

Is skulltag still alive or should I just go with ZDoom?

I usually go with ZDoom, or prBOOM if I want it to play nuts.wad. Also, here's the current DOOM thread.

Time to go read then

Thanks user.

I'm playing Devil Daggers and it's surprisingly engrossing with its slick gameplay and atmosphere. Making a recovery after failing to properly control all crowds at first is goddamn gratifying
It's kind of a pleasant feel if you improve your best time by 8 seconds and the scoreboard says you've advanced 200 positions

arcade games in general are less of an up front commitment than modern games.
i can play 15 minutes of guwange or metal slug over a lunch break and feel like i got something out of it.

I'm just waiting for Stalker Ray of Hope.
But until then i've been playing battle field, and ss13

Nothing, right now. Finished Jade Empire a few days ago. Nothing left to do on Gravity Rush but farm Dusty Tokens. Beat both Project Diva and PD:2nd, and currently waiting on a content pack for Future Tone to download. With the cash left over of my PisS4 playmoney Goy Card I can buy a non-transferable limited license agreement to play Infamous Second Son, DriveClub, or Rogue Galaxy - but the only one that looks worthwhile is Rogue Galaxy and I can just download for the PS2 anytime I want. I've played enough of Star Wars: Battlefront to know it's not something I want to keep around on my HDD for too much longer - and it'll be a few days before KoF:XIV arrives in the mail.

So, fuck it. I guess I'll just go play Sanic.

Gotta lose the will to live fast.

Just replay your favorite game and get back into the rythm of playing vidya.

I'm playing Twilight Princess it's actually better than I remember it being

If you're not having fun don't fuckin play anything. Watch a movie or work out or something. If you want to be stubborn play Postal 2

I'm playing Kirby Super Star Ultra
I'm fucking around with cheats since I already beaten the game so many times

Pick a game at random and start it up. Going to make a roulette list for myself, maybe you could try doing the same.

0: X-Com: UFO Defense
1: God Eater 2
2: Morrowind
3: Shantae Half Genie Hero
4: Risk of Rain
5: Etrian Odyssey IV
6: F.E.A.R
7: Magical Vacation
8: Bully
9: Phantasy Star Online

Shadow Warrior (DOS)
I'm loving it

I want to play games with soul, that touch my existencial worries. I just don't like anything that won't give me emotional inspiration.
Finishing good games is exiting. Last time i finished Fragile Dreams, Muramasa the Demon Blade, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 and No More Heroes 1 and 2 i felt differently about the world and was exited to complete them.
Right now i don't even know how to feel the same anymore. And i can't be satisfied with movies or anime, completing vidya feels like achievement you gone through, not just watched something to happen.

I'm literally devving most of my time now, I think I'm addicted to it.

Sleeping Dogs
It's very immersive and quite fun
Like GTA but set in Hong Kong and focused on unarmed fighting rather than armed fighting, with cool combos, counters and shit.
Also the fucking cops aren't nearly as annoying as they are in GTA.

I would recommend Strider btw.

Look for depression medication? dudedrugslmao may help in that regard too.

Spoiled for choice is a real issue. Only game I can play and enjoy right now is MH4U. Autistic grinding with music is comfy.

Developing dopamine resistance, eh? You need a better skinner box; something with even more instant gratification and even less tedium.
I recommend a browser MMO. You know, the "collect fragments of a character to recruit them so your power level goes up" games? Just look through Kongregate's multiplayer section until you find one that sounds interesting to you.

i don't feel like playing until i open up the game
kinda like porn

This, get MAME and a few gigs worth of games. Set some limitations on yourself like coin usage.

Anyone else have this problem?

Depends on the price. I certainly wouldn't recommend paying full price for it but if it's 50%+ off then it starts being worth it. The only problem is that most players are retarded so you need to have some friends who also own the game or be lucky and find decent players in matchmaking.

No, i'm not a spastic millenial with adhd

Nigger, it's been dead for a long time. Use Zandronum.

funny because it's true

I had it back when I was pirating, but then I decided to be a good goy and buy games (when bundled, on sale or through g2a) and trying to 100% the achievements helps me stay focused on the game and get the most out of it.

StarJew valley is pretty fun, and broke my procrastination.

Is it the StarJew guy or the StarBound guy that is making Fire Emblem/Advance Wars hybrid?

I have no fucking idea, but it sounds like something i'd be interested in. Personally, i hope it's not the Starbound/terraria dev that is already working on terraria 2 because his small team is somewhat incompetent as far as going out of their comfort zone is concerned.

why stardrops taste remember white girls?

Someone like you should watch

Or read

Or play

Try Killer is Dead. The title is stupid and the story is pretty…. weird, but I think you'll get something out of it.

Also It's from the same people that made Killer 7. In fact, if you haven't played Killer 7 play that first, you faggot.

Playing Nioh because it's interesting seeing a more complex combat system resting on top of Souls clone.

….what happened to me. I used to be able to play games for five hours straight

Surely you jest, he's just going through an arc right now. I'm sure the violence will continue. He cant be a dirt farmer for the rest of the series, it's not how Musashi's actual life went.

Pacifism is alright if the alternative is violence for it's own sake. Musashi just goes around challenging people and fucking up their lives for no reason other than to prove himself to himself. He's learning that there's more to life than cutting dudes in half.

But I'll agree with you that the latest chapters have been slow as fuck.

I know that feel too well. Currently in the same situation.

I started playing the Fallout 3 DLC's with negative karma because i never bought and played them still don't bought them
Also i never did a bad run. Always the good guy.
Same for New Vegas. Currently on it.

Also i finished Wario Land 3 on my 3ds to get pic related.

When i'm really bored i play some TERA it's to my surprise FUN
I tried it first some years ago but it was boring as hell. Now i started the ninja class and it's fun. Also i recommend to read every quest text and not accept them instantly, like i did in wow.

I have the same problems as you, user. But here's what I do. Pick a console, preferably one you can emulate well. Two, start out playing the "must-haves" for said console. Mario-games, one-hit-wonders, etc. By now, you should develop a taste for what you like, so, go through some ROM sites and download some games of a genre you like. If you don't have a favorite, choose a variety of semi-popular games, not really must-haves, but not obscure gems either. The internet really comes in handy here as you can look up some gems besides Mario and Zelda. And if you're sitting on a pile of games and still can't figure out what to play, sometimes it's best to just start with what you've heard of or what you'll know you'll like. The point is to always try something new. I've been doing this for a couple years now with Super Nintendo games and sometimes I'll find games I like for other consoles in the process. Here's a few games I've enjoyed:
Why? Interesting characters, strategic gameplay, it's a game that make you think.
Although the first is good too. Why? Multiple plot points, party members with their own interesting backstories/plots. Just make sure you play the retranslation. While I'm at it, I'd like to thank every user on Holla Forums that recommends this game. Thanks for an amazing RPG I probably would've overlooked.
Why? It's similar to Link to the Past, but with a bit of beat-em-up style elements. I'd even say it's a better Zelda than Zelda.
Why? It's similar to Zelda but with an interesting mechanic of controlling 3 characters. Think Triforce Heroes but it's actually fun and works. It's also a Nintendo game, but it never got localized.
Why? It's a less-traditional fairly difficult platformer with fun combat and wicked boss fights.

And there's ton more of non-standard games you'd never notice at first glance. Just pick a console and start digging and you'll have some amazing finds and maybe even a new favorite game. The point is, keep moving forward, even if you're only playing what others recommend. Everyone wants to focus on new games and how gaming is going to shit, but there's practically a goldmine of older and lesser known games. And that's not even counting all the potential hidden gems out there for PC.

ay

feels mv

My semen tastes horrible. It's salty, fatty, strong, thick and has a touch of spicy and bitter.

I'm playing Fallout 1, game's okay but the writing really is shitty.

Talking about roulettes, i think i'l need one for myself.

0. Jet Set Radio
1. Way of the Samurai 3
2. Way of the Samurai 4
3. God Eater 2
4. Xenoverse 2
5. Neptunia 7
6. Tales of Zestiria
7. Tales of Berseria
8. Stranger of the Sword City
9. Dragon's Dogma

Is Vagabond still ongoing?

Fuck.. I don't want to be a normalfag. R.O.B. was right.. Hard times are ahead and that means putting vidya to the side for a time.

The V stands for Victory

At the moment I am playing Diluvion, A fun Roleplaying game with a arcarde Submarine simulator for a battlesystem.

This Friday I have finished Hive Jump. A little Jump and Shoot with random generated levels.

kill me

1. Stop being a turbo faggot autist
2. Take a break
3. Something may just come to you and relight the spark
4. Go out of your comfort zone
5. If not that, play a game you love

It's called Dominions. Dom 4 is the latest. Currently available on Steam, because Desura got bought out.

It is, on the surface, a simple TBS. Make your nations God, then get out there and take provinces. But this game has depth that has been compared to Dwarf Fortress.

To start with, you've got 5 things to decide when building your God. How powerfull their magic is, how strong their Dominion is, how their Dominion shapes the very land, and whether they're awake, dormant or imprisoned.

Take this guy here. He's an arch lich, costing 100 build points. Starts with Death 3. It's cheap as balls to get him new paths (of which there are 8 in total, the four classic elements, astral[think pure magic] death, nature and blood)

The reason he's behind that many fucking longdead is because he's in charge of a nation called Ermor, which is Rome after it fell and is now populated by roman legionaries who are also spooky skeletons. The Dominion of Ermor will slowly kill the population of any province it's in until everyone is dead.

So this Arch-Lich, knowing that he was going to have no gold income or recouce production or supply generation sooner or latter, TANKED his dominion Scales. High Chaos, Sloth out the ass, Death out the ass, since getting rid of those useless meatsacks that are just going to lay around waiting to die sooner is fine, and you know what? Let's make it freezing fucking cold because skelies, zombies and ghosts don't really give a fuck about the weather. He then paused in his point gaining spree. Luck… The high chaos which kills his gold income and makes the Unrest in his provinces (which further kills income, and recources, and supply and makes it impossible to recruit units form if it gets to high) ALSO makes random events occur more frequently. So he decideds to give a nudge toward luck. Enough that all those events will likely get him some gold piles from time to time, as well as some magic gems which he can use to forge magic items for his commanders, cast ritual spells that range from summon a few spectral monkies to make a second sun that never sets to opening the gates of Tartarus and getting a dead and insane god to come out and do your bidding when they're not having PTSD flashbacks, and also for powerfull battlefield spells like summoning elementals, making the wind guide your archers arrows to their targets, and transforming said arrows into magical bolts of flame, to causing everything that dies on the battlefield to become a zombie that serves the caster. And I mean everything. ZOMONKIES. ZOMBELEPHANTS. You get the picture.

Speaking of gems, he of course raises his magic scale, becuse since everything that lives is just gonna waste away and die his armies are going to live and die by his nations gem production, he's going to have to summon everything. So he needs to research his spells as fast as possible, and he always, always, ALWAYS, needs moar gems.

The good news is he does get freespawning skelies, with more showing up the stronger his dominion is. Of course, with a gimped as fuck economy building temples is tricky, so he's got no choice but to max out his starting Dominon. But hey, that gives him Awe, which means he's so fucking awesome that dudes trying to stab him have make a moral check or they're just blinded by his sheer awesomeness.

Eventually, he'll throw out some big spells that will fuck the world over, but that'll get everyone to jump on him at once, and endless skeleton hordes will only get you so far. Sure they can march down into the underwater provinces butt there's gonna be sharks swimming in and out grabing them, and that big fucking Kraken that thinks HE should be the OverGod is chilling down there too…Better to just freeze the whole fucking ocean so they can't come up here and fuck with the Arch-Lichs plans, y'know? Don't even get me started on that asshole with the Ark of the god damn Covenant.

So his meat and potatoes are going to be his ghost-mages. They're going to go in, laugh at the mundane spears that pass through their etherial forms, cast a couple buffs (just in case) and then take advantage of the fact that they don't ever get tired swining swords to swing swords until the arimes of meatsacks break and run. So they're going to need Gear. Flaming swords that take out batches of dudes, a shield that makes them awesome, amulets to ward of the mobs of Priests trying to blast him them holy power… shit like that. All those items take different magic paths to create, and he already wants lots of gem income, and he's a lich so new paths of magic are easy for him to learn… so he goes for magical diversity with his path chooses, as opposed to raw power. After all, he can make items for himself that will boost his power later.

.
.And you haven't even played turn one yet.

I recommend against this. The action gets stale very fast. The crafting system always gets distilled into combine new item from shop with current weapon. The talent system is the completely annoying because its almost impossible to plan for when the game picks what characyers you use. The fucking pokemon chess and the factory and overly complex for what they're worth but they still manage too have almost no challenge. Just learning complex mechanics so you can never be challenged on them. Dumb fucking game when is came out still shit with a bad overpriced port.

so you play a game you don't like? Holla Forums in a nutshell…

you gotta figure out your post-work time. right now i generally throw down an hour each between sniper elite 4, day of infamy and some random game. after that, it's a bit of reading/watching berserk (in a swing right now with the new game coming out). when that kicker ends, i'll probably end up watching or reading something else in its stead. the real trick is finding time to play those games that you just want to blow through in your backlog, like witcher or hitman. that shit is best left for weekends or days off.

goddamn user I mean being a Berserk fan is suffering and all but still why put yourself through that

Unfuck your diet & increase water intake

Do yoga, meditate, eat right, drink water and tea.

This is now an /improve/ thread.

That sounds actually interesting. There are way too few games in which you can literally play god.

It also comes with editing tools, so you can make your own maps, your own nations, our your own mods. The steam community has a forum just for people modding away. I'm not and never have, so I can't say how good the community is though, only that it exists.

bahahahahaha

Currently juggling Nioh, Yakuza 0 and the recently-cracked Tales of Berseria. I like them because they're fun. Berseria's a fine game, I just wasn't willing to support needless censorship in any capacity.
