Looking to start building my first element, wind, and I'm looking to get some recommendations on who I should put as my mains and subs.

So what do you guys think they'll do with character Zenith Perks? Think it's going to be just a copy of what Gran/DJ get, because even that wouldn't be so bad with characters like Naru, where you'd just give her ATK, DA and probably HP/DEF perks. Personally I'm hoping they will be personalized to each character following their playstyle, maybe even adding some buffs to their skills. Or better yet, make it so they can learn a 4th skill with it(characters that already have one get a perk to buff a skill instead)

Monki, Gawain and the new chick for main IMO

Gawain and Andira should be in your party at all times, they're really good. Gawains 5th star is something you should work on as early as possible since it requires a lot of experience. Metera is a bit better suited for shorter fights than Yuisis but Yui is better in almost every situation where she can ougi at least once. As for SR's i would recommend Mimlemel, Aster and Meteon. Hazen could be useful if you really need substitute and a heal but your team should be plenty tanky with Gawain and MC. Keehar is okay but if you want damage with skills you already have Metera and MC has debuffs.

About to hit rank 80 and get my first Horn of Bahamut. Which Baha weapon should I get first, given these parties? From top to bottom is most to least used/developed.

I plan on replacing Eustace with Sarasa eventually, and De La Fille might replace Noa depending on how much of a difference her buff makes.

Well, the obcious choices are the dagger and sword. The dagger will give you a better ATK boost for most of your parties right from the get go but the sword will affect more people and give some health. There are a few little factors that could determine your choice like how close you are to Sarasa. It should also be noted that Light and Earth have overlap with their cosmos weapons and getting a Baha sword helps with that. Of course the Baha sword won't be as good because Ferry doesn't benefit from it and a sword grid takes quite a while to make.

don't even consider going cosmo unless you are commiting hard to an element

i know , i was just clearing up doubts . cosmo is a huge commitment (or you are just a horrible sack of luck) so it's almost never worth especially if you later regret it in all honesty cosmos are really underwhelming and may be completely replaced with the new wave of unknowns from showdowns unless they get buffed or tweaked

Yeah, i believe the sword is the cut off point in terms of ATK upgrades. If you get a weapon with less average ATK than swords it's not even an noticable difference. At least according to my Fire friend who built a staff for his grid.
Oh well, we're probably getting HL GO in March so i hope we get some improvements on cosmos too. Have some idols as recompense.

Why does my fire team have a power ranking of 19 when my light team has a power of 20? My light team has Feather and Noa along with Albert and Lucio and a partially complete light grid. My fire team only has guitar guy for an SSR and my only decent SR is Sen. And I don't think any of them are max level yet. Surely my light team should be leaps and bounds ahead of my fire team?

power rating is raw hp and attack so it doesn't count for shit unless for epeen at rank 101+ when your pool can only increase in base stats

I started replaying after a long while of not touching the game and I am completely fucking lost, currently rank 44, chapter 42 of the story, only stage 1 completed in co-op since I never touched it, class wise I have Holy saber, Bishop and Dark Fencer mastered, Hermit unlocked and working my way toward Weapon Master. Since gacha sent me some dark elemental people I started leeching a bunch of magna Celeste with my EP and do hard angel halo with my AP.

With the way they're going with elemental resistance, you may have to start building a dark grid for GW and xeno corow. A welfare grid is a start.

At what point is a grid "good enough" to solo-mvp magnas? I've got all of 2 ssr tia bolts after some months of grinding, and while wind damage has outpaced my other elements by a long shot even without any SSR wind characters the gacha wants me to play dark/water so bad but water is shit and the dark grind is hell I'm still nowhere near soloing a tia magna, even though she's supposedly the easiest. Is there some sort of midway step I'm not doing? Pic related is my current grid, the glaive is only there because I'm running saber and dt3 because boss ougis end me otherwise and life stuff kept me from grinding the last beasts event enough for the spear. Should I level the SRs more as a stopgap or is there something else I can do to this grid other than continue to leech and pray for more bolts?

Special events usually. The anniversary of the game is at the start of March so you won't have to wait long this time.

A magnafest will happen under these conditions:
A. The last week of the month, this is what they usually pick to do when there are no other things going on such as
B. Whenever a special holiday they want to celebrate is around
C. Whenever Cygames feels threatened by other gacha based games that pop up such as FEH and arbitrarily pick an active accounts number to celebrate

What exactly is a Legfest/Magnafest/??? aside from a 200% SSR pull rate? Is there a difference between these things? Would it be worth rerolling if they do one at the start of march?

I'll admit, I haven't been very impressed by my pulls and progress thus far.

Legfest or the Premium Gala is a draw promotion where the SSR-rates are doubled to 6%. Magnafest is the promotion where joining and hosting raids is half priced. Main quests also have their costs reduced. The host limit is also raised on most raids.
Rerolling only costs your time so feel free to do so.

legfest is double SSR drop rates.
Magnafest is half ap/ep with daily draws and crystals. If you decide to reroll, wait untill legfest. Until then, do as many side quests as you can to build up crystals on that account so you can do a few 10 rolls. You may get lucky and draw a few SSRs that will make rerolling less lucrative.

There's autists who play poker a lot faster than the bot and do so for maybe 4-5 hours per session. I think you're pretty much in the clear.

Can someone tell me the best earth build that involves Mahira?

If you're going for damage then Ayer, Halle and Mahira with your MC going Spartan/SS/Berserker.
If you're working in the Tezcat requirements, there's still a lot of flexibility. For humans Ayer if you need damage, Eugen for a more Ougi focused team and Sara if the Boss has annoying ougis. Draphs has Halle and Sarasa for damage, Okto for Ougi gen and Lastina for tanking purposes.
Eugen works great with Okto, Sarasa and Lastina as a support for them. He's a bit more limiting with Halle but he can still function, Ayer and Sara are preferable however.
Mahira fits in both Ougi heavy teams and more normal attack focused teams as well so use her how you see fit.

Whats a tezcat? Also I'm building GW axe for berserker + Threo, whats good about Ayer and Halle?

Yep, three €, maybe you could set up his license thing in a VM to get a different value and get another free 24 hours, just ran it for about 8 hours in short sessions in between raids and I got enough chips to last me for a while, probably enough to stay at viable level of chips until I statistically hit a super bingo.

Yes, JDA tickets aren't affected by legfest so do it now. Anything that isn't in the Premium side of the draw tab aren't affected, so do it.

Tezcat(lipoca), the Earth summon that gives you a huge damage boost if your party is composed of different races. Mahira being a Harvin is very much to your advantage because Earth doesn't have many Harvins, so at least finding some friends with Tezcat is a good idea.

Ayer does super enmity damage and even gives himself echo damage from his ougi, while Hal gets up to 300% attack and a huge data boost as long as she doesn't get hit. They're two of Earth's hardest hitters, though keeping their damage up can be hard if you aren't careful.

Also get more meta windy characters, and maybe get one other bolt to replace your Florhenberk for whenever there isn't an event

If Alisas bow from the event is an Unknown you can replace your Flohrenberk with that. Then making a Baha dagger and a cosmos gun down the line whilst you farm bolts is a good idea. Is your Tia fully uncapped, by the way? If she is, i believe you can switch Anat out with her.

The bow from the event is an unknown and I'll probably get it.

Get the skill level to 10 and slap an SSR Tiamat summon on it, and your damage will improve vastly compared to the Florhenberk, especially when you're low health and Enmity kicks in. Check out this guide to help make the tia bolt levelling go by easier inb4 reddit

The PWR is only raw stats, it doesn't take into account the modifiers and multipliers of skills. It may have a lower number, but you're doing more damage with Tia equipped than something like Anat.

Yes, they haven't implemented the Magna modifiers into the estimations yet so no need to worry about that.

Titan isnt 'never-ever'-tier, the games gacha is made in such a way that there are ways of picking a character or summon without relying solely on luck. With the 10 draw giving guaranteed SSR weapons and thus, after a while, gold moons, titan is not an of, rather it is a when, determined by sheer autism one puts into it. Characters arent never-ever either, since one can spark them or wait for surprise tickets.

So who wants to be the bringer of bad news?

Unless you are spending sheckles on the game you are not likely to get enough moons anytime soon and tickets are out of the question. Sparking while ftp takes the better part of a year, you can plan around it but until you already are set with characters it hurts more than it helps to skip those legfest rolls.

Considering Cygames probably expect noobs to ise the story SRs for a good while until they actually pick an element to main, I don't think theyd dare touch story. Grinding magnas is also essential and something many players will frequently do, and since theyve recently buffed the drop rates of SSR items from them, I dont think theyll be touched either. HL ptobably won't be touched either, since I feel things like Proto Bahamut Impossible would really be impossible if everyone was restricted to light, as would the magna impossibles. GW and these new Xeno events are more along the lines of 'true end game content' being that they have very strong weapons and characters that require boatloads of materials to obtain, and since people who have been playing for that long of a time will likely have some SSRs in elements they dojt main, ots almost expected in a sense. Besides, it brings new relevancy to classes like fire, water and earth, which would before be commonly ignored compared to wind, light and dark builds.

Zooey is not going to be irrelevant ever unless they nerf her. With a medium dark pool you can take out Xeno ifrits first nightmare fairly easily by just outdamaging him. His HP pool in that fight is quite low, around 4-5 million. Zooeys first skill also always uses whatever element the enemy is weak too and has a 800k cap, i think. Mine hit for about 650-700k.

Now that I have Zoi I really need to put more effort into my pool, get another claw and get damascus bars to use on her pretty ribbon, I really, REALLY hope the unkown staff has backwater on it

I'm not sure i'd recommend using a damascus bar on a ribbon but that's probably my biased talking since i almost have enough for a Gisla. I have only one MLB'd axe and the rest of my grid is at 0-1 stars but thanks to enmity i almost hit as hard as my finished earth grid.
The staff probably won't have enmity unless it's a normal weapon. In that case it's most likely going to suck.
