Seems like a fine time for a digimon thread now that anyone that follows the series already broke in Next Order

Jak, Ratchet and Sly were definitely solid picks, but they were mandatory at minimum. And I didn't say Drake was a bad choice. He was only natural and I have no complaints aside from showing just how little mascots there actually was to use aside from him, the classic action platforming trio of the 6th gen and a guarantee pick like Kratos.

One of the exact comments I've read while searching pointed out if you can't have at least Crash and Spyro of all PlayStation icons, you shouldn't even make the fucking game. Why would Parappa and Sir Daniel be the only old school characters from all the western and eastern classics from the past? Because for all his faults they didn't have an autist like Sakurai dedicated to overall representing and celebrating their history that made people love them.

Hell, even if I've never even played Neptunia, Neptune still should have been in. Definitely would have been a better third party than fucking Big Daddy or Issac. Even Shadow would have been better and more of an unexpected fan favorite icon with all the more adult oriented characters and would have probably worked as easily as using Raiden because Snake was in Brawl.

Sorry, we just both got wrapped up in this discussion.

I really do wish Rumble Arena was given a proper game. "All-Stars" literally has less Digimon and charm than the original. And that was just a random, but great PS1 release with only 2 players.

LOWER THE FUCKING PRICE SCAMCO

It's not that they didn't have someone autistic enough for Crash and Spyro, it's that Activision was too busy actively trying to ruin them to let Sony do something good with them.

But yeah they still fucked up by leaving out obvious characters.

For fucks sake Bandai why is there no decent PC port of anything Digimon yet?

You're lucky that the games got an english release at all.

because you'd pirate it

:^)

IIRC you can get a PSTV for cheap, mod it, then pirate whatever Vita shit you want.

BlackWarGreymon would have been a great diverse idea to get target audiences and I don't think Namco would have had too much problem licensing that much.

New Dramon when?
