My predictions:

Our last hope passed some time ago, the next few years will be the setup for the really really bad times which will start around 2020. There is no way to prevent this, unless someone in power decides to launch the nukes in which case we're all damned.

I believe concentration camps will exterminate undesirables in the West, and this is going to be stepped up under Trump and the other fascists that are coming to power. (We already see signs of exterminism, like laws against feeding and clothing the homeless and confiscation of the homeless' few possessions, not hard to see that the next step is to make sure they are dead.) This will be exposed during Trump's first term, but ultimately the people will choose not to rebel and let the extermination continue, because they don't have the stomach for rebellion.

I don't have much hope for the Left any more. There is too much to fight against for revolution to succeed, porky has this shit gamed out and made sure to prioritize the police/military state enough to prevent any chance of revolt.
