Degenerates.

youtube.com/watch?v=Maex3jW0Yw8

kek, that's primitivism for ya

...

I like to eat vegans, does that count?

EWWWW

because i hate just eating pots of vegetables and need kebabs for fat

Not where I live.

This is the only good reason you listed.

I don't care about them.

So does being alive.

Not really.
You still have a lot of deforestation and harsh chemicals used in the production of high quality veggies.

the taste is fucking horrible I could not live with out eating meat.

high quality veggies are grown without chemicals

id just like to point out that veganism isn't entirely binary and you can avoid animal products when you can without being 100% committed

But you wouldn't really need all that if we stopped using most of our arable land to produce crops for livestock rather than ourselves.

Depends what you buy – same with meat.

According to vegan science™.

I don't care about animals.

Vegan science™.

Capitalist meat factory farming isn't the only way for growing meat.

demagoguery/10

Also, you're a bunch of snooty faggots with a superiority complex the size or porky's waistline. And the fact that you have to use biased sources to back up your shit tier lifestylism proves that it's about ego stroking more than anything else.

Fish contains tons omega-3 fatty acids, some of which are not available in plant sources. Iron is more bio-available from animal sources. Shellfish are loaded with micronutrients. Milk is the 2nd most bioavailable source of protein, behind soy.

Everything in moderation.

They are still going to die anyway. You can buy meat from humane sources, small family farms and the like.

No it does not. This myth is perpetuated because the IARC put meat on a list of level 2b carcinogens. This means "possibly carcinogenic". Also included in that same "carcinogen-level" is being a barber, being a fry cook, talking on your cell phone, and eating pickled vegetables. If you are that worried about meat's cancer causing capacity, better give up that cell phone as well…

What you are probably thinking of his is cured meat, of which it is not even the meat that causes cancer but the sodium nitrate/nitrite that causes it. Nitrite free meat is easy to find these days to avoid this.

This is true but largely due to factory farming. If we reverted back to the levels of meat we consumed during the middle ages, we wouldn't need factory farms. Which is why I buy meat from small family farm sources, humanely treated, and I advocate for consuming less meat. But I don't think you have to give it up entirely.

You can disregard just about everything that does not conform to your worldview that way.

It's indicating that the "science" used by vegans is full of holes

This is the most common argument against vegetarianism, they're arrogant, they think they know better… if this was anything other but an opportunistic rationalization of being triggered, it would mean complete apathy towards everything.

Then argue in favour of it without coming across as an egotistical fuck, and I'll consider listening before crushing you.

My worldview is that there's no separate vegan science™ and meat eater™ science, just one, single, nutritional. I'm not the one getting his facts from vegan webpages.

With your fat "vegan cake is a-okay" belly?

I don't apologize to a fragile ego beforehand when I say something that upsets it.

I'm not under the impression that you do so either.

i wonder who could be behind this post?

:^)

I like meat tho fam

Why don't you farm your own vegetables if you care so much, you stupid faggot? Industrial agriculture is just as bad.

lies

is the lack of Omega-3 and B12 rotting your brain?

boo fuckin' hoo

[Citation Needed]

you really are grasping, aren't you?

Because CARNIVORES.

You can make the same type of vegan bait on 4/pol/ OP, and get the same type of replies. Goes to show how emotionally attached people are to eating food despite being 'woke' in politics/economics. I spend way too much time refuting nonsense, it gets tiresome; Arguing a whole foods plant-based diet here is like arguing on 4/pol/ about socialism tbh. If anyone is legitimately concerned about optimal health and nutrition just visit nutritionfacts.org On environment, read "Livestock's Long Shadow"

Regardless, a quick reply to some things I've seen this thread…

Appeal to nature.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20720258

Healthiest, safest and cheapest source of B12 is through supplementation, which everyone should be doing because even omnivores get B12 deficiency.

The highest sources of omega-3 are found in plants (flax and chia), I think they mean DHA/EPA? Your body converts these better from ALA when you're not eating fish:
researchgate.net/publication/23188337

In any case, there's algae oil which gives the same benefits as fish oil without the contaminants.
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19265383
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18589030

Vegan diet is typically the most nutrient dense:
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3967195/
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23758767

Not to mention most people don't have enough things like fiber or antioxidants in their diet because the lack of plant foods, fiber being necessary for your gut flora and antioxidants for a wide range of benefits from protecting against aging to treating asthma.

Just ask yourself, does your diet reserve heart disease?

because your threads are cancer

Damn, lots of angry "carnivores" (who don't actually kill their meat) here.

I'm not vegan because I'm not some mentally ill liberal

Is that what you're going to say to the people that need to trade for your hunt since they spend all day maintaining the commune, you stupid primmie fuck?

You can't be Left and not be a vegetarian or vegan.

LOOK INTO THE EYE OF THIS CUTE BABY COW

LOOK INTO HER EYES AND TELL HER:

HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF THEY DID THIS TO YOUR SIBLINGS?

YEAH EXCEPT YOU DON'T COMMIT MASS HOLOCAUST

REALLY MAKES YOU THINK, HUH

This. We must seize the means of farm production. What do the animals have to lose but their yokes!

OP confirmed for cow, disregard all posts.

fuck every thread like this hard

pure demagoguery, even worse, the narrator is smug as fuck about it

CTRL+F → 1 result (yours)

You are an omnivore, your teeth ain't appealing to nature, they are nature.

What kind of protein, tho? Processed, overcooked, cooked in shitty oils, or cured meat? Sure, same goes to veggies.

Fuck off. Supplementary vitamins are expensive as fuck.

Not as common, tho.

Nope, fish.

Super expensive.

Most dense in carbohydrates, that is.

Pure advertisement-tier demagoguery.

Proofs?

I supplement b12 and D3 and they're cheap as fuck

amazon.com/Thrive-Culinary-Algae-16-9-Ounce/dp/B01C7SGOWU

Half a liter is 12 bucks. My 1 liter virgin olive oil costs 5-7 bucks.

What sort of hippie psycho uses algae oil in cooking?

He was referring to actual supplements (I imagine), which are still super expensive. It's just odd you took it that way

Our teeth aren't designed to rip the flesh of an animal, you would damage your teeth, hence why we need to use tools. And actually read the source, we're frugivores.

Again, read my sources, plant foods are generally the most nutrient dense and the cheapest foods. The only nutrient you need to supplement is B12 because when you're eating whole food plant-based you're no longer eating supplemented foods like meat and breakfast cereal. You don't want to eat meat for B12 because food is a packaged deal, it has cholesterol, saturated fats, endotoxins, carcinogens, etc, etc. Also, B12 is extremely inexpensive, it can be as low as $2 a year for cobalamin.

Because vegans stop eating processed shit with supplemented B12, skip the crap and take a supplement. Your problem with B12 has nothing to do with veganism, it's a modern day problem.

Herring's have the highest content of omega-3s of any type of fish, let's see how it stacks against flax seeds:

nutritiondata.self.com/facts/nut-and-seed-products/3163/2

Mmm…really makes me think…

You're over exaggerating. And you don't need to supplement an algea DHA/EPA if you're a non-fish eater, for the 3rd time, read my sources. If you have doubts, you would supplement algae oil, which is more expensive than fish oil, but fish oil is always contaminated, 4th time, read my sources.

It is actually the most nutrient dense, 5th time, read my sources, and there's nothing wrong with carbs if you're getting them from whole foods.

No, it's quite the opposite, if someone is trying to sell you on a diet, you ask them does their diet reverse heart disease. It's a simple test to ensure if a diet is health promoting or not. A whole foods plant-based diet reverses heart disease, name another diet that does that.

Animals are not moral agents, therefor I should not care about them more than necessary to utilize them efficiently.

You don't have to care about animals, it should be in your best interest to not consume them if you care about your health and environment.

Yes, the system isn't the problem, you are. Good worker

"mere" vegetarianism is better than veganism on basically every count.

...

Why can't you take personality responsibly in the mean time rather than waiting for the system to change?
