Should I listen to random soldiers?

How likely is this?
I know its just a bunch of soldiers talking shit to some guy behind a desk but I have to take them somewhat seriously since they are soldiers.

What does leftypol think?

by the shia?

This is true. This is also why the PMU aren't allowed take part in the Mosul offensive, despite it being against the best interests of the operation on a practical level.

Harder to predict. Iraq is a fractured nation which is only being held together by the common enemy of ISIS. When the Mosul offensive is over Iraqi Kurdistan is gonna push for independence and they'll likely be backed by Turkey. I don't know how it'll go beyond that.

Rojava is asking for a lot less so they're more likely to come out of this positively imo.

There's definitely PKK sleepers cells all across Turkey, but they won't be activated for that reason. They'll only be activated for something huge like Turkey full on invading Rojava or Ocalan being executed.

Yeah, they've been known to be very over zealous shall we say with Sunni civilians. But I don't doubt that many of the same 'victim' Sunnis were ISIS supporters. YPG has similar problems. Any time they expel ISIS supporters you have people saying they're ethnically cleansing or committing a genocide.

Good, fuck the turkroaches lel

this is what i have been saying all along.
Kurds are just useful idiots played like a fiddle by the imperialists

i hope this happens

it will be hilarious watch reactionaries, liberals and Putin try to figure out who to support and who to bomb

if they bomb the kurds, then the anti-ISIS campaign was a sham. if they help them then Erdogan is betrayed and either Putin must stand with him or Islamist movements will step up their terror campaigns

I want the evil fucks in Moscow and DC to be exposed for the opportuinistic parasites that they are

ISIS definitely have a core of civilian support in many of their cities and villages.

...

wow! what a genius. how did u predict that bru bru? now tell me what should kurds in syria should have done? civil war broke out, you got armed, you protect your land, you are surrounded by islamist psychos and you don't trust the government since it has a record of massacring your people, you are fighting back, you are all by yourself, you get recognized from imperialist countries as a legit force and "imperialist countries" offers you military help. now what do you you genius tactician? pls tell me. "nah bru you guys are imperialist and shit, we will just wait and die".

sound bretty gut 2 meh

...

Please let this be true. Burn Turkey to the fucking ground.

Why the hell would the Turks support such a thing? They have been cockblocking any thought of a Kurdish homeland since WWI.

This part is well-documented, at least.
The Turkey part doesn't surprise me, it sounds like the kind of thing that could be deduced from knowledge that's already in the public domain.

Deez.
I'm not so mean, I'm really shy, but every Turk has got to die. I grab them by their little heads and whack them till they're stone-cold dead.
not really lol, but the fact is that Turkey is a regime that needs to be dismantled and balkanized. Nothing against native Turks having their own country but I don't like them having Albanian and Kurdish and even Western clay.

Oh yeah and one more thing I forgot to mention that is really important.

Literally every single person I have spoken too has said that they are building the infrastructure and making the plans for American troops to literally be there forever.

Soft imperialism is about to come full circle into legit imperialism.

Just because that's the plan doesn't mean that's going to happen.
Trump is a bit of a mystery and he's certainly no good guy but I have a feeling he wouldn't allow it. Wouldn't be the first time the DOD tried to pull of some nasty shit to get cockblocked by the pres.

Turkey supports Iraqi Kurdistan because they're governed by the KDP, which is outside the KCK (Apoist/socialist) umbrella. Essentially they're cucks for Turkey and will never speak out against them and is in fact hostile to leftist Kurds and Rojava. An independent Iraqi Kurdistan would add one more state to Turkey's sphere of influence and it would also be a blow to Iranian interests.

Turkey doesn't mind Kurds as long as they're compliant, docile and Turkified. Apoists Kurds are absolutely hated by Turkey because they're built on everything opposite to this, they live off resistance.

If I recall correctly, Turkey has said it wouldn't have a problem with Rojava if it had a different government (ie if it was a satellite state with none of the things we love about it)

The destabilization process was 100% effective America will rule the world in 20 years. They already have effective counter measures against China, and Trump's partnership with Russia means that the EU will no longer be needed. Turkeystan and Europastan will be left to ruin while Russia+US extract resources out of the Middle East and Africa.

wew!

So how do we help? How do we keep Rojava alive?

Can we make YPG fashionable in the western world beyond the anti-ISIS angle?

1. Give them money
2. Give them guns
3. Go there and help them on the ground

Those are your three options if you want to help them. A martyrs death is the only death that is really worth it to be honest.

Really? In the early days of ISIS the MSM couldn't shut up about how Shia militias persecuting Sunnis had created ISIS
