What are some good short Socialist leaning slogans I can put on some posters and go put up around the place?

What are some good short Socialist leaning slogans I can put on some posters and go put up around the place?

I'm thinking so far:

You work it, you should own it.

Profit to the workers.

Don't blame migrants, blame Capitalism.

You are the working class.

Class war not Nazi masturbation fantasy.

IDPOL OUT FROM LEFTYPOL

NO TAX NO DEBT NO RENT

just DEMOCRACY IN THE WORKPLACE

"Keep what you earn"

"Property is theft" right under "Taxation is theft" to get the attention of lolberts.

"Democracy at work"

Really sends my neocortex into overdrive.

No, you would be licking the floor. Because under socialism there would be no food nor boots being produced.

Unless you mean to lick the boots of your glorious socialist leader, he would, for sure, not be lacking in anything.

Sure there would be.

Please don't use priority is thieft.

Makes working class lads think you want to take over their house and make it a community center for the poor and you will ban them from doing what they like.

The workplace should belong to the workers.

Illuminati? You mean bourgeoisie.

Liberal reform? Or socialist liberation?

Liberal identity politics? Or socialist solidarity?

Capitalism brought industrialization and progress

So did Stalin

:^)

Most of these are cringe worthy aimed at middle class white kids rather then actual workers.

"Blame capatlism not migrants" yeh that will go down well.

Your speaking to very unread people keep it personal to them, even suggesting own the factory will scare most wagies since they are scared of opening their own bussnies feeling it may fail and will see "take over the factory" as just that.

"Be your own boss"?

How about just a big list of all Americas imperial targets

My dad was raised lower class and owns his own bussnies now after years of making connections and risks, most his friends are still working class but most of the ones with real talent who could honestly start their own bussnies and work for themselves or even hire workers as well would not from fear of failure.

Not to say it's a confidence thing but, if you don't have much cash and you have a wife and kid the last thing you want in your head is "there is a chance I fuck up and have to be punished somehow for fucking it up leaving my wife and child hungry"

I'd honestly if your aiming for working class (you still need focus on the middle class imo for the intelgenceie imo) but stick very much to work hours or not risk of being fired for someone who will work cheaper or robots.

But id tread very carefully around the whole be your boss deal, some people do like comfert in knowing they don't have to do the brain work even if it's super fucking easy in a factory, just tread carefully on that on

Sorry if I sound robbery got back from Christmas party bit drunk.

Just for the love of god don't do it in the 'keep calm and carry on' format, that shit is so played out.

Nah it's good.

Is there a way to succinctly explain that with capitalism new technology means lost jobs but with socialism new technology means fewer hours and no drop in pay?

How about:

"Why does technology that makes work easier make worker's lives harder?"

Eh I guess drawing attention to capatalism demands people have money (durr) to pay for rent and food and if this money did not exist the only reason to work would be for farming and clothing and basic needs really (most people don't work these jobs and guess would see it as a very much oh I guess I don't gotta work and the farmers and peeps in India will cover it haha) but again some people still like matralial goods and luxarry goods bring them joy.

But again if your faily poor and can't buy diamond rings and fancy cars you won't really give a shit about this.

If your refering to desk monkies thwy will probably earn more then factory workers or unskilled pay and may be prone to enjoying material goods so prepare for any "but I'll be living in a mud but! I work hard sucking my bosses dick so I live slightly better then billy Bob who sucks dick harder! Baby wants his plasma and wedding rings"

Not OP, but would something like this work just to post around at intersections and such? Eyecatching enough? I fucking suck at graphic design, but I know that shade of Yellow and that shade of Red are the most eye catching colors.

It's also extremely classcucked.

"So I need to work harder by voting on shit that is not my job! I'm not doing extra work! And socialism? That thing that killed 100,000,000,000,990 in Poland and Finland?"

I think the bigger hurdle with "workplace democracy" is that people are getting disillusioned with democratic governments doing crazier and crazier shit.

I was thinking of making one like this:

"Capitalism is an engine of progress"

Then a picture of a bunch of food in the trash or a dumpster.

"1/3 of all food produced in the United States is thrown away."
"Waste is not progress, we need an alternative to captalism."

Or something along those lines. Have to work it out eventually and wanted to make a bunch of different ones, along the lines of using the "engine of progress" quote showing the hypocrisy of the statement.

Honestly I don't think posters are the best format at all of convincing people now.

If you wanted to work on propaganda game I'd stick with social media or just talking to workers on the side (most gommies don't work in fscltried but most working class people already agree shit is fucked to a large degree and open to anyone able to make an argument)

I had a fucking book of ideas about this but I'm not home so can't autisticly send pictures of my mad work

(It was probably not very good anyway)

Maybe slap a "DIRECT" in front of it. But people probably won't see the difference.

Profit back to Workers.

Pretty straight forward slogan, speaks to people who haven't seen wage increases in a long time.

If you have a series of posters like.

Profit back to the Workers.

Workplace Democracy

You work it, You Own It.

That makes people associate the first one (more money in my pocket) with the latter ones, workplace democracy and worker ownership.

The food one is good talking point, effrctd lots of people and already known most food is wasted.

Imagtsy wise id not do trash can over say idk fat piggie eating lots of food for a charity event for some bullshit cause.

Not a big fan of posters so probably gonna shit on em anyway I'm going bed

...

"Taking food is never theft"

Maybe a bit too extreme since I've heard people unironically say people should have money or starve.

Notice how it's in a hard to read font? That is because of precisely that, it's hard to pick up on consciously what is right down the bottom, but your brain will pick it up as well.
Your conscious sell reads:

Workplace Democracy.

Your brain reads

Workplace Democracy.
Socialism.

It makes that association.

...

Not to mention that in a sense, porky is taking food from poormies. The people who pick the food are paid almost nothing, so they can't afford to buy much or good-quality food.

If it's above zero it's too damn high.

The colors look nice but if you're making posters remember that that format is like 20 times more expensive than black on white.

Probably. I'd even take affordable enough to live in the vicinity of the place I was born in.

I'll take living at home over room mates.

Point out that there are 6 times as many empty houses are there are homeless people. A lot of working class people live in apartments. Show them the scarcity is artificial.

I work a Government job and make 80k a year.

Spending like $50 on 100 colour posters is nothing to me.

If your boss earning $80 per second bothers you: #berniecrats

Why make 100 color posters when you can make 2000 black and white ones?

I like "You work it, you own it"

What slogans would you come up with for unemployed workers?

Realistically a poster or a pamphlet doesn't have a long lifespan, it's better to make more than less. If it's just black on white, no big deal if someone tears it down and it goes in the gutter after an hour, with color it might hurt a bit more.

Or: 'quantity has a quality all of its own'.

Right to work is catchy but the right wingers took it.

How bout right to live.

Everyone has a right to: Food, clothes, and shelter.

Something to capture the cycle of poverty:

How can I get a job if I don't have a place to stay? How can I get a place to stay if I don't have a job?

...

Right to a civilized life
Not just life

How about "right to a living"?

One war 2 fronts
