The more we focus on whether the Third Reich was good or bad based on ecconomic factors and social regulations, the more we'll vastly miss the point, and work to set ourselves up for the same horrors.

Germany was a civil and human rights nightmare of incredible proportions, and it happened less than a hundred years ago.
I know most people on imageboards would likely have been sheltered from any degree of the horrors of such a regime, and they would have no real reference point as to what it would be like apart from the apathetic words of history books.
This is why every internet edgelord/budding Nazi runs around screaming "Nigger! Kike! Hitler did nothing wrong!" - it's because they have absolutely no practical notion as to what that would look like in the real world. They have no clue what it truly means to forsake your humanity for such an ideology. I can't say I do, either; but I'm glad I at least have the self-awareness to understand how far the cruelty of weak-minded scapegoating can go.

If humanity really, truly translates the phrase "Never again" into meaning "Not for at least another century", our future as a planet will be a minefield.
