How do you mod?
Aesthetics or Gameplay?

Why restrict yourself to either.

Mostly aesthetic mods, because i like nude mods and I wouldn't be playing the game if I thought the gameplay was bad enough to require a mod on it to make it fun.

aesthetics i guess, i can't into real mods

almost quads

source?

skyrim with mostly aesthetics since gameplay can't make it any less shit
mountain blade with gameplay, toaster can't really handle graphic mods there anyways

...

In the case of smash 4, aesthetics. I actually want to play online and with friends and still practice my skills.

you can't into reverse image search

Both QoL mods & aesthetic mods.

Get out.

trap cloud is best cloud

Aesthetics mostly I don't think skyrim will ever have good game play.

i'm also working on this

Total Conversions are usually the best, especially if there are things you feel need to be tweaked.

Well for starters it depends entirely on what the majority of modders actually do when modding the game. I mean you got a huge assemblage of girl outfits for your female Dohvakin in Skyrim because numales like playing dressup with virtual barbie dolls and the only significant gameplay overhauls is magic and porn. Nobody fucking even tries to overhaul or fix certain bugs or the basic melee combat because of beta submission to Bethesda, they're primarily adjusments to the flow of combat in terms of strategy but you're still wailing at each other in very stiff manner and nothing cool like Dark Messiah.

Even some neat or interesting stuff some Modders do just get forgotten and swept under the rug.

Gameplay mods
Easiest one is…. GOD_MODE

Where do custom characters fit in? (Not the OC kind, but porting them from one game to another)

Preferably neither. Modders are autistic children who like to put their goku power fantasies and idiotic perceptions of what looks pleasing into anything they can. You can pretty mich guarantee the first 100 mods for any game will be shit.

This is cancer that killed modding. Your texture swap is not a mod you fucking faggot.

I heard about this, supposedly the guy that made online work in Skyrim took him like 2 weeks to make it playable with little knowledge on how the shit worked, while another person was working on it for like one, two, maybe more years to have a barely working build.
