Yeah, its usually decent since its the popular vote and not paid shilling and the community isn't too big with several niches picking their fave inside their genre.
I was surprised Call of Warhammer and Expanding Fronts.
Even found a nice Halo mod for C&C3 due to its nomination which I'm downloading now.

I'm not trying to be condesending, I just havn't seen any actual "mods" for games outside of Skyrim that are more like, "what should have been in the game". I haven't seen a "counter strike" or "team fortress" level of modding in years.
